Really, though, does the outcome of the contest really matter? Whichever way it lands, the series will turn it into the best possible ending. Hot Wave has managed to bring Tinn and Gun together -- as well as Win and Sound -- and because of that it has already been a huge success.
I think they'll win, though -- but only because they've tied the outcome to prestige for the school, and because Tinn will need to throw that victory back in his mother's face if she tries to intervene in his relationship with Gun.
I think the only thing that will get Chopper to act against his dad is for Ben to either be in jeopardy or get killed. People have speculated that maybe Palm would be dead by the end of the series but I think the most likely candidate is Ben.
That said, after watching this week's episode I feel so torn! The development of the story just doesn't make sense,…
I think it's more likely that Chopper will be the one who kills is own father rather than get killed trying to stop him.
I'm wondering if the moment of truth will include Ben in the scene, so that Chopper can look over at Ben before deciding what to do. I don't think he'd kill his dad merely to save Nueng because his dad has already killed multiple people and Chopper hasn't done anything about it.
Ben... please understand Chopper it's not like he can go and fight his father who is murdering everyone and buying…
But Chopper promised Ben he would do just that.
I'm not so sure that Chopper's dad has bought out the police. If he had, that would have been the warning that Chopper gave to Ben not to report his dad. Instead he said he didn't want his dad to go to jail.
Palm's dad is in jail not because the cops are corrupt, but because the people who shot Nueng's mom said he was part of the plan.
For me one of the genius touches of the series is the way in which Noey first expresses to Thi that he has crossed a threshold with him, at the end of Episode 7.
"The more I get to know you, I think you are the nice one."
In a series like this what we usually get is one person confessing "I like you" to the other, and the other person being put on the spot to either accept or reject the confession, whereas with the words "I think you are the nice one" Noey acknowledges that he has some work to do before he can win Thi over completely. It puts less pressure on Thi than if Noey had said the usual "I like you" while also setting the right tone for what follows, which is a courtship of sweetness and nice things.
I honestly couldn't get that line of dialog out of my head after I heard it. It impressed me so much.
I REALLY need the wtiters to include dialogue that the 'brothers' are not blood related in this series. Cause…
I know what you mean about the brothers. The two boys don't resemble each other, making it unlikely they're blood brothers, but I had to read the series synopsis here in order to find out if they are half-brothers, stepbrothers, or just two guys who've been friends so long that they consider themselves brothers.
As it is, their situation is similar to the one in the series "Brothers", which is a better series than most people think and is certainly better than this one.
I was complaining that this week's My School President was bad. "Bad" is apparenly relative. On a scale where…
And, like MSP, his show's high school has a music club that's about to be disbanded and is at the mercy of the school president in order to get their instruments.
If MSP now introduces a BDSM subplot with Tinn taking Gun through the paces then everything will have come full circle. πππ

Just don't want you to be disappointed.
