I'm constantly in awe that nearly all the men who take a role in the multitude of BL series are probably straight but they give it their best nonetheless, sometimes even ending up in a "ship" couple that prevents them from even hinting that they might prefer women.
That kind of commitment deserves a ton of respect, and I'm not saying this sarcastically.
In the calculus of great fiction, "hours of angst" + "happy ending out of nowhere" = "sentimentalism", aka, striving for emotions that the work itself hasn't earned.
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Even a standard line of dialog from Pil tickles the funnybone, and Yoon Seul the reporter is a terrific match. Ho Min is a real sweetheart and at the end I was glad to see he was staying in touch with the rest of the gang.
Sigh. I've never really understood what everyone found so appealing about Boun & Prem - maybe it's just the contrast…
I think Talay might be getting paired with the lawyer played by Pak.
Lee Long Shi and Top (*wink wink*) will keep me coming back, regardless of how much the rest of the series self-immolates. Will they actually put that pair in an intimate scene together? I get the butterflies just watching them as they are now.
They're using the same house as "Something In My Room" and "Miracle of Teddy Bear", and I swear the song over the closing credits is the song from "Teddy Bear" too, just sung by someone else.
Ep2 wasn't as fun as Ep1 but they gave us a nice helping of Ashing and Manghorn. Now that's a love scene I'm looking forward to.
Pak, who plays the lawyer, played Nai in the two "Love's Coming" movies. I remember reading somewhere that he got very attached to his costars -- maybe too much so. Back then he had a body like Ashing's. What a stunning man! I wonder if they'll let us see if he's stayed in shape haha.
We love Kermit. You can’t do that too him. He is talented!
You're right, your version is more fitting - it has to be Miss Piggy as Kamol, relentlessly pursuing Kermit as Kim. Because that's what Miss Piggy does anyway.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT!!?????????I think i am a MASOCHIST!!!! cuz Jesús, i love to torture myself seeing this trash…
I am with you 100%. I love this show!
I needed to catch up with three different series today but had to watch this one first. I literally LOL'ed through the whole thing.
I'm glad the rating went up a bit. I seem to recall a Pinoy series that was equally awful and it stopped airing episodes halfway through. It might have been due to loss of budget, but I felt bad because of the possibility that it had been hated on into oblivion.
Truly, the best thing in Ep3 was Ton's performance as Kim and the brief appearance by his ex. It does seem like the ex will be around a while. Lucky us.
In this episode Kamol didn't have anyone killed, but to avenge an arson where he must have lost millions of baht his henchmen use blood to write "DIE!" on a window in the enemy boss's office. They might as well have TP'ed the guy's house.
The other boss flies off the handle though, not out of fear but because his men couldn't stop Kamol's hapless crew from doing the deed. Heck, even the two ditzes in Kim's office were able to outsmart Kamol's men by sneaking Kim out of the building where they were on guard to "watch his every move."
I question the wisdom of a product placement where an organized crime boss who has probably murdered dozens of people uses your face wash to freshen up before taking his unwillingly captive date home.
Dialog like "A guy like me never loses" never gets old -- it just belongs in a cartoon.
I wish I had the video editing skills to redo the opening credits. I'd replace Kamol with Kermit the Frog and Kim with Miss Piggy.

They should build a legit dramatic series around her as the FL. She could blow us all away by totally inhabiting a different kind of character.
Even the generous helping of sex hasn't helped. With those two leads that series should be on fire, but instead it's just a dumpster fire.
Or are you talking about the legendary encounter in Ep1?
