You wrote it even better than I did. For anyone praising the realism of the story line - who here knows two people…
Thanks for your comment. You and I are in the vast minority but it feels good not to be alone.
Sadly, this train wreck has ruined "To My Star" for me. After countless rewatches and a couple of times I forced my friends to watch with me, I won't be able to see it the same away again. Writing the review was cathartic. I feel I can move on now and never look back.
Next week Mek finally lets his hair down and maybe there's a kiss between him and Kim ... if it doesn't get interrupted by a cell phone or some other person. Something tells me it won't really happen lol.
I don't know why the director has the cast overacting so much. Bear is cute af but his "crying" was total cringe. It makes me wonder if they knew going in that most of the cast can't really act so they just said let's overdo it on purpose.
lol the rating went down the hill fast 😂 after some episodes are aired, someone please tell me if there is…
There's at least one -- Kim's ex and his new bf look like they're going to be part of the story. There's also the housekeeper's son Baiboon, who couldn't take his eyes off one of Kamol's bodyguards. Baiboon is listed as the first supporting role after the main cast so I think we'll be seeing a lot of him.
Kan really stood out in "Brothers" ... what a beautiful man.
And it's great to see Noh again. In the teaser Mr. Hot Body checked out the goods when they were both in the gym showers so maybe that will lead to something.
I am actually more interested about the bodyguards than the two main couples...I think that is a bad thing? 😒
This is a little off-topic but I can't resist.
If you'd enjoy a younger-older story about someone falling in love with their bodyguard, check out the book "Valor on the Move" by Kiera Andrews. It's sweet and sexy and has one of funniest scenes I've ever read in a novel.
You know a couple of episodes in and it's not bad but it's not good either. It's kind of sat at the 'Meh' stage…
For me it looks like it will be a Guilty Pleasure, taking over that job from "Rainbow Prince" a few months ago. The main couple's BDSM is total cringe but the two side couples have a lot of potential.
I do wish they'd made it a parody instead of trying to create a convincing mafia BDSM story (the term "mafia BDSM story" almost generates the comedy on its own), but you can't have everything.

I'll go to my grave saying sequels suck.

*GASP*
Otherwise loved it.
I might tease my little brother and make a few jokes at his expense, but that doesn't mean you can just go and rough him up.
