Oh, and I love that JJ is in this (and AJ will next be seen in "Burnout Syndrome"). I love seeing the twins putting in apoearences in almost every GMM series whether as a pair or individuals. π
Thee is emotionally undeveloped because he's sheltered and cushioned by privilege. I can't wait to see how his character progresses as we go along! But I hope the series retains its humor bone until the end because the humor is cracking me up! π€£
After five episodes in, Ice still intrigues me the most.
Revenge - he's back to get back at Mint.
Redemption: returning to school was HUGE for Ice. It's a part of his self-recovery to reclaim not only his stolen life and identity, but also his dignity.
Power: he was used and exploited in the past, now, he wants to reclaim power in every area of his life including acting. Right now, he's wrestling with who he is versus what he was forced to become.
Ice character matters, but given how heavy Ice's trauma is supposed to be, I think Tae could've pushed the emotional expression further in some scenes. He pulls off the quiet pain well, but he needs to use more of the emotional palette to paint more explosive scenes.
Tae is so pretty that most times I tend to get lost in his beauty and have to go back to watch many scenes. His beauty is soft but sharp at the same time. His eyes are expressive and most of the time, they tell a story. I'll love to see him as an elegant villain or as a pretty boy manipulator who is unintentionally seductive, shy but powerful emotionally. Or as a cursed prince. π€
I have a theory about Ice based on his "relationship" with Warm and his lack of intimacy, but I'll keep it to myself for now as I'm waiting to see if the series will address it first.
"You might not think that my money is a big deal, but it solves everything."
Ooh, Thee, talk dirty old money rich to me, you naughty boy! π€ π°
My sister picked this show for us to watch together and let me tell you, Thee is going down in my book as one of my all-time favorite characters and I don't care what anyone says! I'm already head over heels, above cloud nine and moon for him. π€£
Peach is light and sweet as his name suggests and an introvert (I'm always down for my introverts!) while Thee is out of touch with real life as melodramatic lakorns are his power source to getting by in the real world. When this clashes with Peach's more realistic no-nonsense approach to life, OOPS! Chaos ensues!
Thee is cringe, but in the "Awww! Look ma, a lost puppy! I want to carry him home!" way. It's a little playful and over the top, and despite Thee enquiring about the model, we can already feel his infatuation with our little peachy photographer. π
And I'm also seeing a parallel of sorts to the upcoming 'Burnout Syndrome'. I'll like to discuss it, but maybe another time.
Oh, great! Gun just flimed a crying scene for Q26! Just great! They like making us cry along with him. π€§ That break-up scene is going to hit hard! π
What will the couple end up being? Off-gun? Please Spoiler
Like Nyah said, over on X they said that it'd be an ending we don't expect, but logically speaking, it's either OffGun, DewGun, OffDew, a menage a trois, or Jira stays single. π
Although no official statement has been issued by GMMTV or Jumpol himself, the fans have been rallying with messages of support and love concerning Off's trip to the hospital to receive IV treatment. Off has been working nonstop - both gym and work life - and he appears to be exhausted.
Overall, great episode! What a fast paced way to open this new story and Sky and Prim looks cute together! I'm going to have fun watching them.
"Surprise, mother, father." ππ
Okay, Sunrise, what are you hiding? You can't be that squeaky clean! I've missed Pakin so much! Him and Piploy is adorable in this! π₯Ί

* Off, Gun, cast and crew members, here's to a wonderful day of fliming! π
Yes, he DELIVERED the heck out of that scene! It'd seem so. I hope Off will get enough rest once the filming and promotions for the show is over.
