I stopped watching at episode 17 because this drama was just too badly written. Most of the male characters didn't have jobs or any real purpose in life, and female characters weren't any better, acting immature, irresponsible, and constantly yelling. the main female character's dad even left his wife and daughter to live with another single mom for 20 years without contributing a dime! He was just a lazy, spoiled brat with no responsibilities. It was all just too much nonsense for me. Male lead has this weird, creepy smile and he's totally clueless about acting.

Honestly, there was zero chemistry between Moxi and Wan JiaGui. I'm sorry, but I just wasn't convinced by their love story, you know? She made a lot of efforts to get his attention, investing a ton of feelings into him. But what did he do? He just hesitated, didn't make any moves to commit, and couldn't stand up to his parents to be with her. All he did was wear this helpless expression, and honestly, it was frustrating to watch. I can't stand guys like that.
On the flip side, her relationship with Chen WenDe was way more exciting. He teased her and showed genuine affection. he straight-up refused to marry someone else even when they suggested it for more power and support. I really wish they'd shot more sweet moments between Moxi and Chen WenDe.
Ugh, Bai FengYao seriously got on my nerves so many times! First, she married Moxi's lover, and then, inadvertently caused Moxi's husband's death. I get it was unintentional, but I can't help but hate it. What annoyed me even more was her whole drama queen act. She wanted to end her life out of guilt because Moxi got married by force. Like, seriously? She thought Moxi would thank her? Also, I couldn't wrap my head around how this FengYao character suddenly became this military strategy genius. That part was just plain ridiculous!

I even kept telling myself to stop watching, but you know what? I couldn't help it, and I ended up loving those last ten episodes. The hilarious moments were when Moxi was daydreaming during serious situations.
