I've watched a few of her videos and most dramas she didn't like, I loved. It goes to show everyone has different tastes. I disagree with her title for this one though - based on her opinions, you shouldn't watch the drama? Pfft.

I just tried to watch episode 1 and yeah, they're super bad. So bad I can't even understand anything whatsoever. I really hope better subs come out soon because I really want to watch this drama.

As long as we don't get an annoying love triangle, I am fine with angst. Happy endings are a bonus but I don't mind sad ones if done well either. To each our own. I look forward to watching this drama. :))

How bad are the subs? I really want to watch this after Eternal Love. Oh dear.....

Just finished this drama. I have to say that it took me well over 13 episodes to finally gain interest in the story and the episodes I enjoyed most were the last 5. My favorite character was Chief Zheng who for some reason isn't in the cast list here? I rated 7.5 simply because it took me so long to get into the drama as well as constantly wanting to slap Bai Yin Ruo lmao. I love the opening theme as well as the version with a male voice but for the life of me I can't find that version anywhere!

You know, I don't mind cliche stuff all that much. I'm just tired of dramas having the ML sacrifice and die (or nearly die) for the FL all the time. It's refreshing to have them reverse the role a bit. Our FL deserve time to shine saving their ML too! If this show does this at least somewhat then it may end up being a new favorite! :)

I'm looking forward to watching this soon. I appreciate the spoilers actually. Knowing the ending makes me more excited because I'm tired of the same old. Thank you!

Oh dear! Hmm. Well.. As long as the plot is still good and there's at least 1-2 other characters that don't make stupid choices as often as the FL and they don't act rashly/irrational like the FL, then I'm quite excited to watch!

Thank you. Do those episodes toward the end drag pretty badly or is it something else? Also... How annoying out of 10 is the FL? Lol. I've watched a fair share of annoying FL but other characters help me continue watching 'til the end.

I adore light hearted fluffy romance a lot but I'm also not opposed to a more mature, dark setting either. I will try this out slowly and see but I'm still worried about Leo Luo's character, hopefully I don't get too attached to him like I normally do. Thank you Firefly88! :)

I don't know whether to watch this or not. I've been putting it off for months. It sounds cute but after reading a lot of comments and reviews, it sounds lowkey creepy too. Can anyone tell me pros and cons of the ML and FL please? If the good outweigh the bad then I will watch this drama, lmao.

So far I'm enjoying it at 4 episodes in, plenty of laughs & especially from Song Che. I'm keeping expectations low for now.

Edit: I've completed it. I enjoyed the first 16 episodes. The last 8 episodes were fine. I think Song Che was my favorite character. He made me laugh so much. I'll be honest, I couldn't feel love between any of the characters that had a love interest. Sure, there were moments like gazing into the eyes, hands touching, falling into the arms - you get the idea, but I just feel like there was something missing. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Well I'm hoping for the ending to at least be as satisfying as the book. I'm tired of the ML getting all those parts now.

Sorry that some are from the same drama, but these are ones I did like quite a bit. Beautiful and sad are subjective.

It was my favorite out of the entire OST. I can still see the scene in my head whilst listening to this song. My heart still breaks.

If they keep this drama to the book, I will be a happy person as insane as that sounds. FL in dramaland need more bad ass moments, even if they are tragic AF.

I remember watching this drama on YouTube. The subs weren't too bad but the sound was always cut in random places, taking you out of the story. Aside from that, I enjoyed all the way up until that stupid ending. I wish I saw your advice before watching this drama months ago lmao.
