It's really good. It's true that if you want to watch the anime or read the manga one day, there're some important…
Now that it's clear you MIGHT just be a die-hard One Piece fan with their priorities all messed up, "Read and manga, watch the anime, don't you DARE watch the live action, otherwise you have shitty taste and poor judgment," even though the live action is decent, its success will eventually lead to the manga and anime growth. I feel better about engaging in this conversation.
Oh, and there is a new One Piece Wit anime production in the works, I am sure you'll love it, won't you. ; )
It's really good. It's true that if you want to watch the anime or read the manga one day, there're some important…
"Raging like an idiot", "assuming you passed Middle school writing class" "Otherwise, stick with your delusional view, "shitty your taste in media is"
How does it feel to be a One Piece fan who cannot express a thought without throwing insults, needs to make others feel shitty for liking things that you don't, or failing to notice how we might disagree about the live action being good or not, BUT WE both believe that the manga and anime are amazing.
The principle of this conversation is that you want to go around trying to bully people into NOT watching the live action and head STRAIGHT into reading the manga and watching the anime.
While I want to encourage new fans to at least get a taste of what One Piece is ( I am not saying One Piece live action is perfect), so they'll be curious enough to find out what the real thing feels like for themselves,
You can talk about the technicalities of why the live-action is terrible, comment negatively about it all you want, and go after all those who are curious, innocent and who want to watch it, but you'll fail to gain any new fans in that way for the manga and anime.
After all, that's both our goals. You did encourage them to read the manga and watch the anime in your very first comment, or did you forget your original intent and purpose throughout this whole discussion? getting lost in this "I am right, you are wrong" and "delusional and shitty takes"...
It's really good. It's true that if you want to watch the anime or read the manga one day, there're some important…
"Normies", "popular slop", "Relying on interviews", "Delusional".
So many assumptions, so many disparaging comments coming from a 'One Piece fan'...
What a great way to promote One Piece, a story that involves so many different kinds of people, coming from different places, all with different opinions, values and priorities (all written by ONE PERSON), clearly something you DO NOT align with, after all, if you did, then maybe we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Instead of spreading negativity with your words, advocating hate against a live-action beloved by One Piece fans, manga and anime, not to mention the fact that a 3rd season is on its way because of how well it's being received by those not only in the fandom but outside to new audiences as well.
Instead of doing that you should actually try and do what One Piece characters value above all else, allowing others to have the "Freedom" to have different opinions to you and do what THEY want to do.
I'm sure that you'll try and find some way to disparage me again for this very simple message, but as 1 one piece fan to another, lets not let the amazing writing of oda go to waste.
Not a manga reader or anime watcher here. How is this drama, anyone? Loved S1.
Season one you get introduced to the crew, season 2 you'll find everything more... just more. I hope you give it a chance and see if you like it. I do believe it is a well told story. And everything flows well together.
Just so you know, the live-action is very condensed, if you want to spend time with the straw hat crew and get know all sides of them; AND if you ever get curious about why people are going crazy over some seeming small things that look insignificant, the manga and anime lets you do so and learn more. . . all the best with this new chapter.
It's really good. It's true that if you want to watch the anime or read the manga one day, there're some important…
"Many people will tell you it's good because many people don't understand the series and praise this amateur production".
- This comment fails to acknowledge how this live action introduced a whole new audience to One Piece, watching live action for the 1st time, deeply connecting with the characters, eventually starting the anime and manga. Doing so allowed those who have never engaged with anime/manga and made them into passionate fans. Btw, the 'Many people' you are referring to are also passionate fans of the manga and anime. Don't disrespect people by devaluing their opinions just because they differ from yours. If you don't like something, then maybe it's not for you. After all, the manga and anime will always be there.
Oh, and just to mention that this isn't an amateur production, it is a passion project, and since you love the original content so much (created by Oda), the live-action has Oda's stamp of approval. This 2nd season didn't even come out until he was satisfied.
Don't turn away people who are curious about this adaptation just because it didn't live up to YOUR standard; otherwise, potential fans and fellow crew members might decide not to engage with One Piece or the fandom at all, let alone read the manga or watch the anime.
The first season made me so attached to the characters, especially Luffy. The Straw Hat crew definitely has a special place in my heart, which I know is true for many people. There is a reason why it is so popular, it's because it makes you feel something, empathy, love and kinship with those on screen. This season didn't fail in that respect either, making me feel connected to a whale and many other amazing characters that appeared.
Examples:Luffy's over the top acting and screamingTashigi's over actingFanservice scene with Nami in her bikini…
With Nami's bikini scene... smoker, luffy, sanji, zoro All had their chests out this season, Zoro's and luffy's shirtless scenes were way longer then Nami's scene. Seems weird that you only notice Nami's "fan service" and didn't even realise that the boys had their chests out multiple times
as for your other remarks, I respect your opinion, just check yourself in terms of "fan service"
And they have diverted a little from the story. The straw hats never left Igaram behind to sacrifice himself they…
omg wait... is this rage baiting? are you trying to rage bait me?
its my first time, omg, I had no idea this was it, I genuinely thought you were just confused and didn't remember what happened in the manga and anime.
And they have diverted a little from the story. The straw hats never left Igaram behind to sacrifice himself they…
You do remember in the manga and anime when he got blown up right? on the boat? and its implied that robin killed him? when everyone believed he died? including vivi and the straw hat crew?
You also remember how WE are supposed to believe that he died until he reappears in Alabasta?
i am not making ts up but making 'hating on strong and bold women in media' your whole personality trait is seriously…
1) You've watched Welcome to Samdal-ri where both are each others first loves.
2) You've also watched The Story of Park's Marriage Contract and the male lead is more experienced.
3) You've also watched See You in My 19th Life again the FL is very much in love with her first love.
(Btw you seem to have an obsession with ML and if they are experienced or not... why do you care so much?
Your only topic of conversation is about wanting to have ML's who try and get with virgin girls,
e.g:
"Why is Korean drama industry so obsessed with their men being pure virgins?"
"me, I will watch it and trash the crap out of it everywhere.
It's hilarious watching grown ass rich handsome men playing the role of a pure virgin dildo to satisfy a woman who has been with other men."
"Imagine having dramas where a 30 year old handsome rich man is a pure virgin & the poor female who is average looking having shagged multiple men..."
seems like all you really want to see is older men with experience getting together with a younger girl who doesn't.
if you really wanted to get that type of kdramas then ALL THE OLDER KDRAMAS are there for you because that is what that era prioritised, its not like they aren't there. But its 2025 literally nobody cares about virginity ( which I am pretty sure is a dying out word)
But nowadays nobody cares about who is experienced or who isn't because all of us just want to fall in love. an d Kdramas give us that. But if that's not what you want then that's alright you can continue being miserable about the kdramas you watch
Seems like you just want to argue. and make it very clear to everyone that you just want to complain about something that you could easily fix yourself. seems that you have lot to say by just repeating yourself about your own fantasies... and you don't really care about what other people are saying to you... so if you ever do reply to this I won't be surprised if you answer is just repeating yourself.

Oh that makes so much sense.
Sorry carry on
Do you remember how he was described by those who loved and lived with him?
Be ashamed that you do not live up to your name's sake.

Highlight of the last episode was Zoro's and Choppers interactions.
as for your other remarks, I respect your opinion, just check yourself in terms of "fan service"

Sorry for interrupting, you can continue
You also remember how WE are supposed to believe that he died until he reappears in Alabasta?
In this respect they didn't deviate at all.
The only things that was different was where he died and who killed him.
2) You've also watched The Story of Park's Marriage Contract and the male lead is more experienced.
