Going good so far! I love Jiah's determination, Yeon's humor, and their chemistry together! Tbh I haven't seen Ki Bum in anything after BOF, which was 11 years ago!! And though he's a villain here Lee Rang is pretty cool lol.
Is there 40 or 46 caps? I'm actually watch the 20 episode on iQiyi have Only 40 dosPlease, help me.Pd: sorry for…
It depends where you watch it! It's 40 episodes when each episodes are full length. But 46 episodes if the episodes are cut shorter. But wherever you watch it, you shouldn't miss anything!
I want more!!!!! More of the new family dynamics! I want to see the six of them now eating at their small dining table. I want to see more of ZQ and his mom. JJ and LX getting married and just being in love :( This is one of the best Chinese dramas I've watched for sure !!
My analysis so far and prediction: Mei feels possessive towards ikkun as she was the only friend of hers that stuck with her. Ikkun likes mei romantically but since she doesn't believe that mei likes her that way, she's willing to just be her protector until mei meets someone she loves. Asada is in love with ikkun but will later find out that she is in love with mei. Nao also falls in love with ikkun because she protected him from getting bullied (i would presume). I don't think they'll give us a clear answer of who will end up with who. But I think that both nao and asada will confess to ikkun. Then ikkun will confess to mei. I think that they will leave it at that and just have the four of them continue to be close to each other. Asada and ikkun will continue to protect mei and asada will keep on falling in love with ikkun. Nao and mei will bond over their feelings towards ikkun and be close friends. I'm HOPING that ikkun and mei will actually end up in a romantic relationship but I doubt that's gonna happen.
Hmmmmm, idk how to feel about this drama at all. On one hand, I like the concept of people from the future making a profit from time travel by having clients who pay to go back to the past for whatever reason. But then I feel like I'm going to keep being bothered with how they are portraying time as I have watched movies with a better take on time travel. Acting is superb and I love Kim Hee Sun in anything but I'll probably wait until the drama finishes airing and then watch it because I've kinda lost interest ㅠㅠ And I was looking forward to this ㅠㅠ
This show makes me want to rewatch Le Coup de Foudre and the Reply series all over again. Idk why but I really prefer the friend/family to lovers trope lmao. Especially when you've known that person for your whole lives and eventually start to see each other in a romantic way. I also love it when the guy is completely devoted to the girl and is willing to wait for her. This drama definitely has its flaws but I. AM. IN. LOVE
Ngl I wished that the "emotionless" part was executed better. I love Joo Won's acting, I just wished that they really went full-blown no emotion at all like in the Forest of Secrets. This is just my opinion and my tendency to compare dramas with an "emotionless" actor lol.
I'm pretty sure the romance will be between Do Yeon and Jin Gyum but the main focus will be between the mom and son relationship. I'm hoping for this because I already love the banter between JG and DY
It feels really weird to hear JianJian call her boyfriend as brother...... really really pukish.....brother is…
I agree with the rest of the replies. In the Philippines it's common and respectful to address any older male (related or unrelated) "kuya" (brother) or "tito" (uncle). Though girls wouldn't address their older boyfriends as kuya, and instead use sweetie or babe, as someone who has watched Korean dramas for more than a decade, I got used to the word "oppa" being used as a term of endearment even though subtitles would often translate it as brother. I'm so used to it that it sounds even weirder when instead of using "oppa" the younger girlfriend would use "babe" or "sweetie" xD
JJ has helped him figure out that he just wants to legally take care of her. Ever since he was a kid he felt that since he is not legally bound to JJ and her father that he's not really part of the family. And JJ told him that they have and will always be a family. They had a really heartfelt conversation about this in ep 25. So no, I don't think he's a romantic interest anymore. But we'll see I guess lol
I'm just doing a character analysis to get my thoughts together, don't mind me: (if you care though do reply I'd…
You put it perfectly. I wasn't surprised at all when JJ wanted to keep her distance from ZQ and LX. As she said in EP 16, there are not tied together, not by blood or by law, therefore, she believes that once she gets close to them again, they'll abandon her again for their blood-related family. Which is also why I think she avoids talking about LX's sister.
As for LX, I'm still not sure when he started seeing JJ romantically. From what I know, there have been hints that LX is actually in love with JJ. For example, when the aunties told him to consider marrying JJ, he wasn't opposed to it at all. Another example is when he told his colleague that he likes someone. I assumed that he was talking about JJ.
As for ZQ, I'm leaning more towards believing that he truly just sees JJ as a little sister and nothing more. Since he was "unofficially" adopted by JJ's father and he calls JJ's father dad.
I'm pretty sure I already know who JJ will end up with but I'm really enjoying the ride there. As well as inputs from fellow watchers like you :)
Guys i am on ep 16 and I just feel that jianjian is now getting really rude and arrogant towards her bros I understand…
For 9 years they didn't visit her at all, not even during the holidays. And now when she feels that she is in a good place and feels independent (before her brothers did everything for her), they come barging in wanting to do everything for her again. She doesn't want to be dependent on them like before and she also doesn't want them to do all these things for her because she believes that they are making up for the 9 years that they weren't by her side. Essentially I think that Jian Jian believes that they'll eventually abandon her again and she wants to prepare for that.
This is one of the best Chinese dramas I've watched for sure !!

What did LX wish for and wrote on a piece of paper in Episode 27??
Thank you in advance!!
