The thing is - in slavic countries and especially in Russia - there is no rule/believe that " if you do not have a good relationship in your family or you do not have your own family - you are not good businessmen (man who you can trust in business). That is chinese cultural stuff/believe. Nobody in Russia cares if you have family and if you are good husband/wife. Other factors are important for consideration about business cooperation. Drama is misleading its chinese viewers about russian business practics.

I am surprised as well. They didnt even start any product sales and reach some profit - but already have 8 people in the team, 4 of which on wage.

And no russian guy will be watching and listening personal stuff between two people. It is highly unethical in Russia and all neighbouring countries. Personal is always left outside business and other relationships. It is non existent that one business partner is highly interested if the couple is or not in divorse process. Who cares. So it was super cringy.

ChengYi and YangZi have nothing in common, any facial feature is similar. If looking for similarities - Zhao Lusi would be more similar to ChengYi, they have same face shape and noses, ChengYi is male version od Zhao Lusi. And both can deliver emotions ferfectly as well.

I remember that it was the Boss of Power Gang who named the token fake after LSF showed it. But dont remember that Xiao family talked about fake token in Sward manor before ML departure. Did they?

So the question is - why Crazy Yan did that and with what purpose.

So at the moment it looks that Crazy Yan sent to Ms Wu just a fake token - to start hunting again. I guess there is no real token - nor with ML, nor with Ms Wu, nor in Xiao family. Just a plain rumor.

LSF gave QH that fake token. If you remember - they stole it together with his bodyguard. So LSF schemed with QH with that fake token against ML.

You missed my point. I wasn’t talking about what the drama showed—I was referring to the harsh reality of that time. No landlord family would have sold their land to save a daughter if they had sons and other daughters and such a big family. Land was more valuable than life itself, especially a woman’s life. Women were disposable.

In old China, daughters weren’t valued much—if one was lost, families often just relied on another for marriage. So all the drama about saving XX by selling lands for two episodes seems unrealistic. It looks like a modern idea, since now daughters are seen as just as important as sons. But overall quality of drama so far is very good.

Exactly. Novel is built with a correct logic: one step from ML, one step from FL, one step from ML, one step from FL and so on. Specific sequence of such steps brings the final result everybody expects, just as in a real life. Drama script? - is just a mess of randomly picked stuff from the novel with no sequence and no logic.
