It could have become one of the best and very successful drama if they have just simply followed the novel.
What was wrong with these makers and what the hell they were thinking while messing with such a good novel.

I wish someone make another adaptation of this novel. I was very excited for this after reading novel. But they messed it up completely don't know why

I can't explain, how amazing and exciting novel is, it was more like xinxia. All fights were between deities,dxy and demons and it was very exciting. These little pathetic students were nothing in the novel. DXY never went to academy until he became transcendent by himself when he went to cave and he was there for five years.

They have deceived the fans by calling it novel adaptation. Making changes or improvising the story is a different thing but it's completely a new story. They only kept title from the novel

As a novel fan, it is so frustrating to watch how they are changing the story with each episode. They keep nothing from the novel.
They should have changed the title too. It's completely different story it has nothing to do with novel.

Most important they have changed the male lead character completely. He was nothing like what they are showing here. His character was very complex

I've read the full novel and i was very excited for this adaptation. But they ruined it by changing the whole story. What the hell they were thinking to change the complete story

I've just seen 2 episode. Story is totally different from novel. Only character name is same. They should have followed the novel. Novel was very exciting full of action and adventures.

It started really well. But ml character become very boring. He is very weak and trying to prove he is very smart but actually not. Even after 30 episode there is not a single moment where you'll think ml is the ingenious one.

Now it has become predictable for such drama that ML will give up the throne for FL. Why can't he keep both. He could do so much by becoming king.

He was supposed to be smart, cunning and heartless. But now he is drinking and crying over a girl from last four episodes.

This has become so boring because of romance.
Without romance it would have been much better.
