BL romantic comedy should be when it’s done right
A Dog and a Plane just dropped its first episode yesterday, and it already feels like something special. TAY and NEW’s acting is phenomenal—so mature, natural, and expertly delivered. You can really feel how experienced they are in every scene.
The pilot episode is genuinely funny and very enjoyable to watch, but what stands out the most is their performance. Their expressions—especially the eyes, lips, and even the way they deliver their lines—are incredibly articulate and controlled. The entire cast is also a joy to watch, adding to the light, engaging energy of the show.
This feels like what a BL romantic comedy should be when it’s done right—not the usual long stretch of overly cute school flirting that drags across episodes. Instead, it’s refreshing, well-paced, and actually feels like a proper story with real chemistry and structure.
The production quality is outstanding, and honestly, it leaves you wanting more right away. I wish I could binge all the remaining episodes now because I’m fully hooked already.
