Cried from happiness

This series definitely deserves much more recognition and popularity. It is a sweet and comforting series that is like a warm cup of honey tea. I will be definitely rewatching it again and again, and I can really recommend this short series. If you like a cute bl with beautiful scenery and the greenest of the green flag characters, you will definitely love this one.

Things I liked:
1. Ryuji. If there was ever a competition for the most mature, kind, and sweet BL character, Ryuji would get first place every time.
2. So many cute and adorable moments.
3. Amane's growth. I'm really proud of him and everything he achieved.
4. Communication, communication, and even more communication. Amane and Ryuji are the best example of how to communicate and be absolute green flags all day.
5. Gorgeous scenery.

Things I disliked:
1. Didn't affect my rating at all, but I would really love for the series to have at least a few more episodes.

Perfect mix of beauty and pain

Overall this series definitely exceeded my expectations. It had a few things that I really didn't expect, which made me even more invested. Truly an underrated gem of a series.

Things I liked:
1. Magnificent acting.
2. Beautiful cinematography.
3. Su Bai. He is a great, supportive older brother, so mature and nice.
4. Su Bai breaking up with Yi Wei. I hated Yi Wei from the start, the way he treated Su Bai and everything else. So when Su Bai finally broke up with him, I was literally celebrating.
5. Pei Jia redemption arc.
6. Main character. Yes, he made a few mistakes here and there, but he is incredible, and following his story was really nice.

Things I disliked:
1. Pei Jia.
Pei Jia treated Su Yi like trash the whole time, seeing him as nothing more than some side character in his life. But as soon as Su Yi finally stopped chasing and left him, he finally woke up and realized that he misses him.
Despite everything, he at least had a redemption arc and changed for the best.
2. Yi Wei. Oh my god, what a spineless loser.
All he does is bend over backwards for anyone but his boyfriend. And even after Su Bai broke up with him, all he does is complain about him. Su Bai really deserves better.
He has absolutely no respect for Su Bai or Su Yi, saying that Su Bai is acting childish when clearly the only one being incredibly childish is Yi Wei.
He does make changes for the best in the end, but in my opinion it's way too late, and I personally couldn't forgive him.
3. Fang Ruizhi. This one is self-explanatory.
4. The pacing was a bit too slow for my liking.
5. Not dislike, but I personally would appreciate more if there was at least half of an episode with Pei Jia and Su Yi after they got their revenge and happy ending.

SWEET

It wasn't quite what I expected, but I still genuinely enjoyed this series for the most part. I do think some things could've been done differently for a better result, but overall this series definitely is worth the hype.

Things I liked:
1. The main character's dynamic is so wholesome. They are adorable together, I really like their opposite personalities.
2. Great chemistry.
3. All of the kind and romantic gestures Jeong Woo does for Jiwon.
4. Friends. They were so funny, and I loved how supportive they were.

Things I disliked:
1. Jiwon hiding his relationship with Jeong Woo from their friends. I understand that he is worried about people finding out and their reaction, but he is selling it far too hard and for far too long. Especially since they are their friends, hiding it from them is insane.
I also understand that it's his first-ever relationship, but his boyfriend clearly said that it hurts him, but he continued doing the same thing.
2. Jiwon pissed me off incredibly in the 7th episode. I just wish they didn't add all that drama in one episode.
3. I really wished for the side couple to actually become a couple. Instead, we just got teased a few times, and that's it. I really loved them together; they truly deserve a separate mini-series or at least a special episode.

Overall, as I said, I enjoyed watching this series and probably will rewatch it again someday!

So sweet it gave me toothache

Strongberry comes yet again with another beauty.

Omg I'm in love, seriously that was so good that my only problem with this mini series, is that it was too short.
From acting to camera work everything was so good, I was smiling like an idiot from start till the end.
The confession in the first episode almost made cry, the way everything was just so perfect about it.
That was definitely one of the best short series/films i ever watched.

100% new comfort series to watch when feeling down just to relive the happines it gave me.

Disgusting

Who needs a good plot when you can just put sexual assault in every scene and call it a day!

Not my first time watching it, I've watched it before probably around the time it came out and back then I didn't really enjoy it, but I also didn't realize all integrity of how bad things were.

I understand that the name is “Obsessed”, but there is a big difference between being obsessed and just sexually assaulting another person just cause you feel like it. It's hard to expect a healthy dynamic from something with this name, but they went beyond being unhealthy.
It is terrible, and it shocks me that there are still people trying to defend it and say that it's a masterpiece. A dumpster fire is all it is and there's nothing that can change my opinion on that, sadly.

Both too much and not enough

Both japanese and thai adaptations had their own goods and bads, but in my personal opinion, thai adaptation was quite underwhelming comparing to the japanese one.
Feels like they tried to do a lot of stuff and instead of doing less but good, they did a lot with much lower quality.

Things I liked:
1. Sweet and wholesome series with a lot of cute moments.
2. Music.
3. Kongthap is a big green flag.
4. Chinzhilla's concert. That was a cute reminder of the My School President.
5. University. I liked the way both couples had discussions about future studying and what their plans for the future are.

Things I disliked:
1. Quite a lot of product commercials. While I understand that it helps a lot GMMTV with producing other series, it's still getting annoying at a certain point.
2. Too many sound effects. I feel like it's an ongoing problem with some of GMMTV projects, and it is pretty irritating.
3. Too much low quality stuff. As I said before, they bit off more than they can chew, tried to do everything and ended up doing nothing.
4. Could've been shorter and wouldn't even lose much of the plot. At some point, this series started feeling too draggy.

Overall, it wasn't too bad, but I had higher expectations for it. Especially since it was GeminiFourth and they had two great projects previously.

GREENEST FLAGS

Underrated gem, can't believe I found it absolutely accidentally and haven't heard anybody talking about it before.
Green flag on green flag, so sweet and wholesome. This should be an example for so many bl series.
It was an incredibly good watch and I cannot stop thinking about it, it's just that good.

The things I liked:
1. Great communication. Main leads had a good way of communicating not only when they had problems or disagreements, but also when it came to communicating their boundaries.
2. Respect. While both main characters were really respectful towards each other, I really want to highlight the way God was treating Diew. He was so incredibly respectful when it comes to Diew's boundaries, without spoiling, I just want to say that this man deserves the world for that.
3. So much cute and sweet moments.
4. Nice funny moments.
5. Extroverts/Introverts. They did a good job at showing more in depth how it works and that being extrovert or introvert doesn't necessarily mean being outgoing and extremely social or being shy and quiet. That it's not just black and white and more of a gray area in the way that it's all depends on the person themselves and also who they are with and where.
6. Friends. Omg these friends were so wonderful, they were so supportive and so nice.
7. Side couple. I loved Beer and Wan, their story was super cute, and I loved them since the first episode.
8. Consent. I feel like a lot of bl's lack in that, but there's nothing better than mutual consent with lots of love.
9. Khun Shy!!! Not much to say here, he was definitely the star of the show.
10. Supportive grandpa.

There were only a few things I wasn't too fond of, but I didn't lower my rating because of them.
So things I disliked:
1. Voiceover. The voiceover at some moments were just plain bad, but it didn't upset me that much.
2. Drama with the mother in the last episode. I feel like it was quite unnecessary and just too much with everything else going on.
Other than that, I absolutely loved this series, and it easily became one of my comfort series that I will rewatch again and again.

Just kind of bland

It's a nice heartwarming series, but it is just a bit bland and boring.

Things I liked:

1. The side couple was quite cute, a bit more on a “toxic” side, but it's nothing crazy.
2. I really liked the dynamic between the main couple.
3. Lots of cute and sweet moments.
4. Series has an enjoyable humor.
5. A lot of supportive parents.

Things I disliked:

1. A lot of cliches and just overused stuff.
2. Overused sound effects.
3. Ten's father and his ways of disciplining and “educating” his son.
4. The way Unky reacted to his friends having “secrets” from him, while I can understand him being upset. His reaction was still quite jarring and the way he went about the whole situation was not the best in my opinion.
5. It is slow and could've been significantly shorter without even losing any of the plot.

Overall it was quite nice and enjoyable but would be much better if it was shorter.

Beautiful

That was a great series, I really enjoyed watching. It is sweet with good communication from main characters and no unnecessary drama involved. Even though at first I was a bit sceptical, I can gladly say I enjoyed it more than a Japanese adaptation. While both of them are a great series, Thai adaptation just got more of a special place in my heart.

There were a few things that I did found annoying at times, but I'd want to start with the things I liked:
1. Great communication. As I mentioned previously, in this series you can see two adults who are good at communicating and resolving their problems without unnecessary fights and drama. It was satisfying to see it since it is sadly a rare occurrence.
2. A lot of fluff. I really enjoyed how sweet and cute this series is, that's something you can watch after watching something really sad. The cute moment's from this series made my heart ache, it was the sweetest.
3. Humour. All the funny moments were nice to see as well, they were good timed and definitely weren't too cringy, as it could be at times.
4. Acting. There's really not much to say about it. It was good.
5. Family. I really loved Achi's parent's, seeing how they made Karan feel so welcomed, and the way they were so happy for their son.
I also liked Karan's sister and her way of communicating with their mom, to make her understand Karan's real feelings.

Now, when it comes to the things I didn't enjoy as much:
1. SO MANY ADS. I want to start by saying that i of course understand that it helps with funding a series, but honestly that might be my first time seeing so much product ads in one series. Even though I understand how much it helps them, it's still was pretty annoying at times.
2. Side m/m couple. This one is my personal opinion, maybe I am the problem since in both Japanese and Thai adaptation I was really not a big fan of the secondary couple. While in Thai adaptation I enjoyed them more, it still wasn't my cup of tea.
3. Pai's character. She is both one of my favourite side characters and also, one of the characters I found annoying. She was great with a lot of stuff, but when it came to her own story, she was acting really weird, and it felt like she was trying to play dumb at times.

But even than that, the series was fantastic, and I definitely can recommend it!!

Definitely need more

That was great!

I really liked:
1. The chemistry that the two leads had, and the way Yang was excellent at communicating.
2. The visuals were beautiful.
3. I liked the plot, there were some clichés in it, but it wasn't too annoying.
4. The acting was also good.

Overall, I really enjoyed watching it and I would love if they made this into a full length series.

Impossible watch

Honestly I don't even know what to say except for how terrible it is, I truly tried finishing it, but it's honestly impossible.
The cringe and stupidity is just too much. It hurt to try to watch this series.

The only reason I even started this series is Pao/his actor, and I wanted to give this series a try even though I saw so much negativity around it. I tried watching it for him and the side couple that he is a part of. But I watched 7 episodes and the whole time we had one side couple interaction and maybe a few minutes of screen time for both of them.
There was only one thing I truly liked about this series, and it's Phloen, I liked his actor he is such a sweet character and honestly deserves so much more.

Other than that it is just a trash, I'm sorry, but it is actually terrible. Insanely slow and boring. All the problems are just sucked out of the thin air and disappear as fast as they occurred with no explanations.
It is really choppy, so much stuff is going on “behind the screen”, they have a conflict and then all of a sudden time skip to the next day when everything is magically fixed with no explanation.

Tin keeps acting like a literal child, it is annoying and honestly sickening. Park is just plain annoying with his random mood swings and cold demeanor. Their dynamic is so jarring.

When I saw that the screenwriter for this series is the same person as Park's actor, it told me everything I needed to know.
Overall, it is just plainly bad, and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody unless they ask me for the bottom of the barrel type of BL.

Emotional rollercoaster and not a good kind

That was an exhausting watch. I watched it before and wasn't a fan at all, but recently I found out that this series will have a second season. So I chose to rewatch it to refresh my memory and possibly change my opinion enough to watch the second season. And honestly I'm still not sure if I want to watch the second season.
I did enjoy this series to some degree, it was entertaining. The first episode was good, then it went downhill and sort of picked up at the end.
I didn't really like either of the main leads for different reasons, and I really didn't see that much growth from them.

Things I liked:
1. Soundtrack.
2. Chemistry. That's one thing they were good at.
3. I like the overall plot/idea even though the execution was not so good at times.

Things I disliked:
1. Akihiro using his "girlfriend" to put it bluntly to try and forget. Instead of dealing with his trauma or doing anything to actually try, he blatantly uses another person for his own comfort.
2. Akihiro cheating on his girlfriend both emotionally and physically.
He should've ended it all once he literally said, "Deep down in my heart, I've always wanted you, Senpai." Once he crossed this road, even if he chose not to go back to Takashi or even to break all contact with him, he still should've broken up with his girlfriend. Instead, he goes and tries proposing to her.
3. Takashi is a groomer. I said what I said, he knew his assistant since he was just a student in the university, yet he still chose to sleep with him. And then he goes to try and justify it by saying, "He came onto me himself" yeah, no this is disgusting.
4. Yuto. Takashi's assistant. I'm honestly in between hating him and just feeling bad for him. Takashi is obviously the reason for some of his behavior, but it still doesn't fully excuse the way he behaves.
5. Not a single likable character.

Just like the first season

The second season picks up pretty much where the first one ended. I'm giving it a rating higher by 0.5 only due to the side couple. Yet again it's not a bad series, I'd even argue it's pretty good,, but it's just nothing special, honestly.

Things I liked:
1. I really enjoyed seeing more of the side couple. They were my biggest motivation to watch season 2. We got more of their story in more depth, and I'm so happy we got to see them happy together.
2. Humor. Yet again, the second season is pretty much like the first season, mostly relying on the humor.

Things I disliked:
1. Misunderstandings on misunderstandings. I didn't hate it, obviously the whole plot is just focused on them, but enough is enough.
2. I really hoped to see more romance from the main couple.

Short funny and sweet

You can watch it on GagaOOLala: https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/3919/i-became-the-main-role-of-a-bl-drama-2023-s01e01

I rewatched it to refresh my memory before watching season 2 and wanted to say my opinion on it. It is not a bad series, but it isn't anything crazy. Just a funny short series to watch when you want something easy and good but nothing special.

Things I liked:
1. Humor. That is the biggest thing this series relies on, and honestly it is not bad and pretty enjoyable.
2. Soundtrack. I personally really liked it.
3. Side couple. While we haven't seen that much of them, I really liked them together.

Things I disliked:
There isn't necessarily anything that stood out to me.

Underrated gem of a movie

You can watch it on GagaOOLala: https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/5641/aichaku-2024

I personally really liked it. It's a good movie, and while relying heavily on humor for the most part, it also has serious, heartfelt moments, which I can greatly appreciate.

As a person who experienced a lot of the same or highly similar situations as our main character before, I can say that this movie is a pretty nice and accurate representation of what it feels to live in a foreign country so different from your home country. While a lot of situations here are shown in more of a joking manner, they are still good enough to show the sort of things people have to go through.

I appreciate the maturity from Kumi, Ken's girlfriend. Once she realized that she and Ken have different goals for the future, Kumi chose to leave the relationship like a sane and mature adult without making a scene or accusing Ken of anything, which is always good to see.
Her brother on the other hand, though, is incredibly childish, hostile, and just weird most of the time.
Attacking and screaming at Ken after Kumi broke the things off.

Ken being the only person who actually stood up for Lucas is quite sad but also so nice of him. I really loved Ken as a character, and his growth was incredibly nice to see.
I was so happy to see so many people try to help and stand up for Lucas later on in the movie.

Overall, as I said, I really enjoyed this movie. I think it is great. It has a lot of funny and cute moments, as well as more serious and mature parts that are crucial for a movie like that. It had good representation, and I think this movie definitely deserves more recognition.
