Also, not to creep anyone out, but it seriously turn me on as soon as Kim Tan and Choi Young Do get all fiery, aggressive, dominant and passionate altogether which each other and just go for each others neck - literally.
What great chemistry. I think Lee Min Ho found his master (pun not intended ;D )with Kim Woo Bin; this guy is definitely one we can look forward to in the future. He's going big after this and that's totally deserved.
She is 46 years old and she looks amazing. I know I won't be looking like that at that age.
She's mindblowingly beautiful and mindblowingly talented. Love love love this woman.
A lot of people are saying that Lee Min Ho is too old to play a school student and that his face isn't fresh any…
I didn't say he's not fresh anymore and I'm from the "I think he's a tad too old to play a high school student"- fraction, here. He's hot, he's still fresh, he's still amazing, but Lee Min Ho is 26 and I think it shows. In a good way, though it wouldn't be normal if it didn't, but I would love to see him emerge into more mature, older roles, that's just all :)
I'm rooting for Lee Min Ho ever since I saw him acting in Boys Before Flowers, back in the days, so to speak. I love the incredible variety in acting this man has to offer, BUT, to be completely honest... Lee Min Ho is too old for the role of Kim Tan.
It just irks me every damn episode. He's good, he's mind blowing, but he's too old. And this is sad, because he can do so much better than just the Chaebol-type - even though Kim Tan is a very different type, I agree.
That being said, I just need to say how much I love Kim Woo Bin in 'The Heirs'. He's the first actor, in my opinion, who is completely up to par with Lee Min Hos acting AND charisma. Those two in a scene? They dominate everything.
I loved Kim Woo Bin in 'White Christmas', alright, but 'The Heirs' brought him to such attention to me, that I'm going to accompany him on his journey of acting, from now on. SO GOOD!
The English is horrible - not even only on the behalf of the Korean actors, mind you, the obvious American actors were straight down terrible at (voice) acting, as well. So superficial, so implausible!
Especially the blonde guy with the long hair had some really weird, completely illogical conversations with Lee Min Ho's character - I was facepalming like mad all the time, as soon as he entered the screen.
BUT having said this, I really enjoy the variety of actors. It is star-packed, yes, but I like every single one of the Korean actors and they are doing a great job, aside from demonstrating lacking English skills. The changing setting from US to Korea is... well, a little strange at first, but it gives the whole thing another twist, which makes it definitely interesting.
So far my two cents, I'll see what future episodes will bring.
To be honest, I didn't like that drama that much, although I found it to be very promising in the beginning.
For my taste there's just too much mother-meddling & mother-screaming involved, also it seems that the couples fight at times just to fucking fight; I never saw that much reason behind it and it annoyed me royally - if you want to tear them apart, at least do it with a decent and reasonable plot.
For me, the best thing about this drama had been the aunt, she really was refreshingly unconventional.
After IRIS I was expecting much more and maybe my expectations really were too high about IRIS 2. It's quite good as a standalone, but not as a follow up.
I'll try to finish this but so far I'm not having the greatest pleasure watching it.
Ugh. Anticipating this so much. I'm a major fangirl when it comes down to the whole IRIS/Athena franchise.
I'm really eager to see how they realized it.
Since 'A Moment to Remember' my one and only true love in the whole asian cinema scene.
This is an actor of a quality you rarely find, because he stops at nothing to be the best self for whatever role he choses and this alone makes him simply the best. (Well, at least for me ;)
I really adore this man. He's one of the few who could really amaze me, and doesn't fail to do so again and again.

Ich hoffe wirklich, Poseidon ist gut! Allzu gutes Rating hat es nämlich leider nicht. : /
Having dealt with teenage pregnancy myself, I found this drama very compelling and somewhat true to the experiences Miki had to made - within the circle of her friends, within her school, within the family and yes, even within society, even though there were some exaggerations here there for a more dramatic effect.
I would recommend this drama to everybody. The story about the baby's father and his mother constantly butting in can be a little over the top sometimes, too, yes, but all in all it's a story about an underage soon-to-be mother who brings up the courage to deliver and raise her child, no matter what. In my opinion, it's a drama about the bravery motherhood often takes and it therefore touched me, like only a few dramas could, so far.

If I want it just bad enough, it can happen, right? [/ironyoff]
