I have tried in the first 10 episodes, somehow I don't like the main character even though his acting is good. Somehow after watching JoL it made me not interested in watching other series because I was bored.
Ofcourse if you watch the anime before the drama, you will feel that way. The anime is so awesome
I think this is the best animated series ever, great story, nice character, amazing world of fantasy, so it's natural to see the Live Action version be boring. Or maybe I have too much expectation, hoping that the fantasy world and custom are like Eternal Love.
