The age difference couldn't be more than 4-5 if they were from the same mother and depending on how many concubines the father has. I wasn't paying much attention to the Ji family dynamic because I really don't care about them. I was thinking broad terms and since they married pretty young back then.

That and it happened a fair bit for emperors to inherit concubines from their predecessor even if it was their father because some of these new emperors grew up with these concubines/consorts etc. It's just not shown in many dramas.

Title The Double
If consort Li used to be the late emperor's consort, does that mean she's older than the current emperor?
Depending on when the former Emperor got Concubine Li and how old she was at the time, they could be around the same age but I'm leaning towards her being older than him which isn't unheard of.

It's not showing yet. It's the sequel to the one that is currently airing but I think they broke the drama into two and that's why there's a season 1 and a season 2. They did the same thing with The Blue Whisper, Immortal Samsara, and Lost You Forever. I think dramas these days can't go past a certain number of episodes. But I'm not an expert so don't quote me.

Title Justice in the Dark Spoiler
I'm most curious about whether Pei Shu's father is alive (not in the vegetative state) or not and did his mother…
In the novel he's called Fei Du and his father regularly tormented him and his mother in order to turn Fei Du into a complete sadist but it didn't work because his mother used to show him acts of kindness when his father wasn't around. However sometimes his father did end up finding out regardless and would beat his mother in front of him to "discipline" him and try to make him forget about those acts of kindness and harden him further. His mother committed suicide when he was 12 I think and timed it so he would find her body because I think he was at boarding school or lived in a dorm because he only came home on weekends. It was completely out of the blue for him but he originally knew that she had committed suicide but still called the police because I think a part of him hoped the police would find evidence against his father but to no avail. After calling the police he met Luo Wenzhou (Luo Weizhao) and Tao Ran (Tao Ze) who inadvertently brought life back to him despite his resistance to it. Fei Du and Luo Wenzhou originally both had a crush on Tao Ran but both knew it wouldn't amount to anything as Tao Ran was straight as straight can be. Luo Wenzhou throughout the years would send gifts through Tao Ran because he felt bad for him and to this day Fei Du still carries around the PSP that Luo Wenzhou gave him (though he doesn't find out that it was Luo Wenzhou til much later). Fei Du originally embroils himself in Luo Wenzhou's investigations with a hidden agenda of finding out who was helping his father turn him into a sadist and over time sparks begin to fly between Fei Du and Luo Wenzhou. At this point, Fei Du is completely convinced that he can't feel real emotions so doesn't realize that he does in fact love Luo Wenzhou back and still never really believes it but grows accustomed to Luo Wenzhou's companionship. Fei Du's father at the beginning of the novel is already in a coma for several years (I think when he was like 17 or something and he's 21 at the start of the novel) and is being taken care of in a facility until the group he's been trying to find throughout his investigations with Luo Wenzhou abducts him as leverage. A bomb is placed under his father's bed but the bomb was dismantled before it could go off and the police show up and his father spends the rest of his life in a coma and dies a while later. I think Fei Du has his father cremated or something afterwards and then spends the rest of his life not thinking about his father ever again.

The secret could refer to the fact that his father had been accused of treason because it's something that the court doesn't like to talk about or the fact that he was investigating his father's case.

If I remember correctly, I think Zhang Qishan and Zhang Rishan are distantly related to him but they don't know about the existence of Xiao Ge because after an internal fight between the Zhang clan, it split up into two different factions. I think Xiao Ge is one if not the only remaining person from the other faction. Plus I think Xiao Ge is older than both of them. So there's probably no way Zhang Rishan can help him even if he wanted to. Take this with a grain of salt.

So is it actually a musical?
If you're skeptical about watching it for that reason, don't worry because there's enough moments in it to make you forget that it is a musical at times.

Title One Spring Night Spoiler
Don't come at me please. I spent the past two days watching One Spring Night and Something in the Rain respectively. This is just me comparing my opinions of both because the whole time I was watching Something in the Rain, I was comparing it to One Spring Night. I couldn't help it.

Overall, One Spring Night was better for me. The main thing I found frustrating aside from Jung-In's dad was that it took her so long to break up with her boyfriend even after she knew that she no longer had feelings for him. I get that it's hard to just let go of someone you've known for that long, but she was already starting to feel something for Ji-ho and clung onto him even when he said he'd back off because she was taken.

However in Something in the Rain, I can understand how much deeper the feelings are in such a short amount of time because of the history and Joon-Hee having one sided feelings for her for the longest time. Maybe it's just based off of my personal experience but I don't see how Jung-In and Ji-ho's feelings could have been "that" deep in such a short amount of time.

But in One Spring Night the relationship between the main couple was better. There was mutual trust and it felt more mature to me because they could talk about things and Jung-In was confident in her feelings and herself enough to handle everything better. While Jin-Ah's love for Joon-Hee was abundant, she wasn't all that confident in herself enough to openly talk to Joon-Hee (and sometimes vice-versa) about everything that she was struggling with because of their relationship and even things outside of their relationship which eventually led to them separating.

Also it bugs me how Jin-Ah seemed to have this "it's Joon-Hee or nothing" attitude but after they separated she reverted to the same pattern of finding someone her mom approved of but didn't actually love and it took her seeing Joon-Hee again to realize that she didn't like the guy she was with. Maybe Joon-Hee also got another person while in America but it felt like his feelings were deeper than Jin-Ah's because even though he brushed it off, once he was pressed about it, he never denied still having feelings for her while she was coming up with excuses about why they didn't work out. It's not like she tried very hard to stop Joon-Hee from leaving even when she knew the real reason why he was leaving. I think Joon-Hee deserved better from her at times.

In both shows, I really liked Jung Hae-In's character slightly more than the female lead. I could feel in both shows how much he loved the person he did and when his heart was hurting over it. Also I like the parents in One Spring Night (aside from Jung-In's dad) because even though taboos were there, they still believed in their children enough to work through it.

Sorry, I'm in my feelings, this was a lot.

Title Touch Spoiler
I personally didn't mind the age gap between them because they were both adults and they were what each other needed. Jung Hyuk needed someone who stood by him when things got tough and Soo Yeon needed a safe space and someone to see her as herself rather than the image that was created for her. Usually I get irritated when the main couple doesn't get together until the show almost ends but in this it was somewhat sweeter because they built trust and respect for each other first before giving into other feelings. It was a mature romance and not because Jung Hyuk was older but because it didn't need to rely on the "honeymoon" feelings. I did like Do Jin but I feel like since Soo Yeon spent so much of the show taking care of him, it couldn't have passed as anything other than a familial love to me. Also I think Do Jin needed to mature as a person and find a way to stand without Soo Yeon because she was all he knew. Soo Yeon even at 25 seemed almost like an old soul at times and I think with her timid nature, she needed someone who wasn't as wild or dependent as Do Jin. I really liked the show for the most part and I love that Jung Hyuk was as soft as tofu on the inside but I was upset when he forgave Min Kang Ho a little too easily. Or that most people seemed to have forgiven him too easily. I don't think his insecurities and past trauma gave him the excuse to beat his wife. That's my two cents, please don't come at me.
