I don't know if this comment is already posted up because I'm honestly too tired to look so if it is, apologies but does anyone else feel like the same person who kicked Shen Yi off the building after he painted Officer Lei's portrait is the same person who broke into his home at the end of the show and messed with his painting? And it has to be someone who is close to him otherwise how would they know that the other painting is behind unless they put it there themself....

Did I miss it or did they explain how they needed a photo of a 3 year old to identify an undercover cop? I understand all (or most) of the events that followed because of it but I don't know how they ended up with his childhood picture and didn't know who he was.... Also if they don't explain that ending with like another full season, I'm going to go mental. I'll even take a few more episodes, I just want more.

I'm on episode 18 and I'm about to scream from the anticipation and the anxiety.

I wish it was longer. I miss them.

For some reason I thought it was amazing the first time I watched it but then when I rewatched it a couple times, I found myself skipping a lot. It could be because when I first watched it, I hadn't watched as many Chinese dramas so I didn't know the level it was at or maybe it was simply because my taste had changed. No matter which time I watched it, I was always upset with how the FL was so in love with the SML at the beginning. What really is the basis for it? Just because he saved her a few times? I know not to go into these dramas with any kind of logic but still. I did like how they portrayed the ML's love for the FL. It at least showed progression. At first he was around her because he was suspicious and used her as a tool, then he was intrigued, then he liked how smart she was (with cases anyway) and for her headstrong personality, and then he decided to love her unconditionally. Even when she had betrayed him, he still cared for her. But with the FL, her heart was erratic and fickle at best. She liked the SML because he saved her and somehow happened to be her fiance. Even when she knew he had an ulterior motive, she still liked him anyway and chose him over the ML. Sure the ML was overbearing at times and controlling at best, but he never once put her in danger without making sure she was protected. Then when she did notice the ML's affection for her, she seemed to question herself as to whether she actually liked him back or if it was because of all that he had done for her. Where was her thought process when it came to the SML?? Also another annoying thing, the FL's sister... Where do I even begin? She liked the ML based on looks and the fact that he was showering the FL with attention while he gave none to her. Did she get the hint? No. She still continued to chase after him and later on chose to get revenge on him and the FL. Why? For the most ridiculous and narcissistic reason. They caused her mother's death and the ML didn't like her despite knowing that her mother is the reason the FL's mother is dead and she killed the FL's teacher. Other than those reasons, I quite liked the show.
