I completely agree, those episodes almost made me drop the show. Even the laughing of the members felt fake.
Ep 166 had so many fake laughs from Seung-gi. I was wondering if he's trying too hard to detach himself from the psycho he is portraing in Mouse and his image of a good boy.
So basically, Ba Reum is the Korean version of Dexter.
He is unless we discover that he was the 7sins killers. If he was already a killer before the operation then this drama has nothing to do with Dexter. But I am a still bit annoyed that the writer could not be more original and made Daniel Lee act like Dexter's father.
One thing I found fascinating when reading the comments is that people understand only half of what they are watching, and automatically a drama like Mouse becomes "messy" and "full of plot holes". There are more suitable stories for you, with only two characters like "The lion and the mouse" for example.
I found it pretty absurd as well at first, but they might argue that he's been a model prisoner for the past 26…
I have a friend who is from Sweden and he keeps telling me how bad the law is there in relation to rapes. He told me some specific cases where rapists were sent to 2 years of prison. A rapist should never be released, let alone be allowed to live in the same hometown of the victim. In the drama, I think the rapist is obsessed with the girl because he couldn't do with her what he wanted. He "craves" her.
I don't get how BR could possibly be the cross killer. When they were doing the show, the cross killer was there…
When they were doing the show JBR's final job was to send the image of the kid found on the USB. After that, we don't know what he does. After the priest is killed and the girl is assaulted, he shows up at the church. Also, JBR knew the priest was a Gudong because he told him while they were still preparing for the show. He could have left the police station after giving the restored USB content. Starting making his calls to play with the detective while on the go (which he already doing while running errands). Get to Gudon to kill the priest. The police were going to the wrong location, so he had plenty of time after the killing to hung the body. Then there is the girl. When he sees the girl, he acts as if he has all the time in the world to decide what to do. If he wanted, he could have killed her easily but I guess he has some kind of attachment towards her. The police arrive and he runs away. I can imagine anything between 20 to 40 minutes for the paramedics to give the girl first aid before taking her to the hospital. JBR had plenty of time to escape, change, and return to the crime scene just when the girl is taken away by the ambulance.
At this point I have a headache, between figuring out what’s happening here and in mouse?.. my head hurts.
ahah. Actually, I'm wondering whether I'm watching a thriller or a makjang in both drams. In this one, we have a village where people are either policemen or gambling ladies. Every policeman is related to someone, and they get arrested and release in turns. In Mouse, I expect the story to come up with a baby swap at birth or something similar.
