Are we certain that the creepy guy played by Choi Byung-mo is Do Min-seok? I was thinking that it might be the…
I like your theory. I also think it's possible that demon eyed creepy ghost isn't his father. It's so much fun to read all these theories and keep guessing, makes the drama more interesting.
that balcony scene was so good. I think he's misunderstood and stigmatized due to his condition and his father's doings. But he sure is creepy! I still can't like him properly.
ep 3 caught me off guard, really so 1. I wasn't expecting that "arrangement" between BHS and KMJ, I was a little surprised 2. that whisper and creepy black eyes, dude really scared me with those demon eyes (do I need to get some salt or a colt ? Dean?) 3. BHS seemed a little sloppy at first but I think he knew he won't kill KMJ so his flat won't be a crime scene, or am I thinking too much? 4. BUTTONS, Joon Gi oppa, BUTTONS, they're important for my sanity! 5. the real BHS is alive!! wow!
and finally, am I the only one who feels that something is a little off about the wife, CJW? she seems a bit weird to me. I'm not sure if it's the character or her acting, idk, we'll see
You are right that we can't romanticized murder, while I am sure that he could've killed because of his mental…
I agree with you, I too believe in healing and forgiveness. I really hope he didn't commit any murder. Then his daughter will face the same harsh treatment from people. She's too precious for that. I hated how he was treated as a monster.
The first 2 episodes are very good. We got the set up and overall theme of the show. I don't want to assume anything before ep 6-7. I found that assuming doesn't really work this year. That being said, I'd very much like to think that this will end on a positive note. Kdramas rarely give us dark endings. But we have to wait and see how everything unfolds.
I don't think anyone can romanticize a murderer. We drool over the actors who play these roles. We find them charming, handsome and maybe charismatic. But that's just their acting, not the character. And kdramas do a fine job of showing us why these characters turned out like that, which can sometimes encourage sympathy. But not in real life.
NOTHING excuses murder. Our society can be very cruel sometimes but that doesn't give anyone the right to take a life. We are obsessed with being normal and perfect. I'm not an exception either. I will too avoid a person with a history like BHS. We simply cannot accept exceptions. It was the same with Go Moon Young in IOTNBO. A psychiatric hospital full of trained professionals just called her rude and be done with! That's why some people hide, try to be normal, acceptable.
All that being said, I love the casting choices so far. LJG and MCW have perfect chemistry. And their daughter, she's so cute. They deserve the truth, they shouldn't be treated with deception. It is gonna be so painful to watch Cha Ji Won find the truth. I think he loves them, in his own way, at least the daughter, I'm hopeful.
Sorry for the long post guys. I was just very overwhelmed by the story. Have a good day <3
Kdramas are making me fall for serial killers/psychopaths now! sweet fluffy guys became so bland to me cause of these type of dramas. bring it on, Joon Gi oppa, I'm ready! *no I'm not*
I can't get enough of the weird/new camera angle here! also the chemistry between the leads are too good, I ship them so hard! ^^ I really like Goo Se Ra's character, she's honest, bold and can stand up for herself, it's so good to see a character like her in a kdrama. the comedy is good too, despite being in a political set up. Hope they don't mess this up.
Moon Young's character is so intriguing and complex. And that nightmare scene really scared me cause I used to get similar nightmares and sleep paralysis before. She needs help, desperately. And I love the chemistry between the leads.
But can we take a moment to appreciate Oh Jung Se and his portrayal of Moon Sang Tae. He deserves so much praise for his acting. He's one of my favorites now. His acting made me sympathize with Kang Tae more. He definitely deserves all the praise he gets. <3

I'm disappointed, again :/
