That's a reductive summary/misrepresentation of what I said and I repeatedly mentioned I don't think the ML is a bad person, just that kissing her was wrong (you are allowed to criticize characters' actions - FL & ML included), but whatever I'm tired. OP, sorry for clogging your comment with my drama.

I also think it makes sense he was upset that she asked and understand he doesn't know the reason. But I don't like that he kissed her and I would add that she was trying to protect the contestant's privacy from him as well. I understand where both of them were coming from even if I don't agree with all their actions. I also apologize if it seems I was saying everyone criticizing the FL is a Siwon fangirl, only that the person I talked to on Twitter was.

Yes! I tried to argue that with someone on Twitter and they accused me of calling the character a molester. Then I saw on their profile that they are a huge fan of the actor. Some people can't understand critizing something a character has done doesn't mean you are calling them (or their actor) a bad person. Both characters hurt each other but shows are supposed to have drama. I'm interested to see what happens next.

Yes! Did everyone who is saying she did it for her career get amnesia about why she was asking him in the first place?! You know a lot of this championing of the ML and hate for the FL was really put in perspective for me when I realized the ML is played by a K pop star. I was talking to someone on Twitter who was getting pretty mad at me for critizing the character's actions so I looked at their profile and they are a huge fan of the actor/singer. I really think some people think they are defending the actor as well as the character.

This is giving me Under the Miracle Cherry Tree vibes. I cried buckets watching that one too.

I don't know if it's a hundred percent morally correct but I did not have a problem with it. She asked him. Yes she pleaded (because she was trying to protect the privacy of a sexual assault victim), but she did not force him. Was he wrong to be upset that she asked? Also no, but that doesn't give him the right to kiss her.

If anything I am annoyed at the ML. He asked if she wanted a friend or romantic interest and she said friend. He pretended to accept it and then he kissed her? Then why ask her in the first place if you weren't going to respect her opinion.

I don't have a problem with anything the FL has done so far. Fight me. Just kidding I'm not looking for a debate just wanted to put it out there I might be in the minority opinion.

When the contestant started talking about never doing any activities and not even having friends, then she reacted so negatively to touch, I suspected it might have been SA trauma but I'm still kind of surprised they went there. It got me really emotional.

Episode 3 was the only one I was slightly let down by.

For whatever reason, ratings in Korea for makjang dramas tend to be very high. Koreans seem to really respond to them, which is great for me because I also love makjang!

The way Yamada so casually and without a thought for himself pushed Oumi out of the way killed me.

I know I'm late to the party but the ending of episode 4 was so good and realistic. Seeiw knew he was feeling something but seeing the two boys kissing in the film finally helped him be able to identify what it is. And it makes so much sense for that epiphany to bring out a lot of emotions, especially since (from Seeiw's perspective) Cake probably doesn't have those same feelings.

I wrote this comments before the FL APOLOGIZED to the SML for HIM kissing her?! What the actual F. The writers really messed up with that whole situation. It's a blemish on a show that I really am enjoying otherwise.
