late to the party. that episode 3 twist was freaking brilliant. now the synopsis makes more sense lol.

Here I was, usually excellent at identifying gay characters quickly, all confused about why he couldn't be with a woman. I was trying to figure out a physical reason. Duh lol. Convenient way to avoid a love triangle!

um the fight scene on the ship in episode 3 is aaaamazing. Finally a C drama that knows how to choreograph fights. They used camera tricks but it really did look like a oner.

I get the feeling this director is a big fan of Tarantino. I think this is firmly entering guilty pleasure territory. Not as guilty as Playboyyy but it's still too ridiculous to be taken seriously. It may not sound like it but I am complimenting it. Sometimes you want to watch something fun that doesn't make you think too hard.

episode 4 was excellent! so many emotions!

there is a multi year separation after a sad event but when they meet again they have a happy ending

I'm only on episode 1. I love MLs who are either batsh*t crazy or pretending to be batsh*t crazy so I love the ML either way this turns out.

Man this director knows how to take out your heart, stomp on it, and then put it back and make it flutter. Extremely good so far

Hama Shogo looks like he walked straight out of a manga and his voice is to die for

The part where he acknowledged his pain near the end was so meaningful after how numb you saw he became in episode 4. He said he no longer felt pain, but when he had something to care about and hope for the pain came back 😭😭

Episode 5 was actually pretty beautiful.

Oof. Episode 3 and 4 were rough. Not in terms of quality, just in terms of trigger worthy content.

It depends on if you can handle cringe humor because it is the cringiest but totally on purpose. That being said I can't usually handle cringe and I really liked it. I think it helped the show didn't take itself seriously at all. Babe and Billy were good but Billy and Seng's chemistry will always be my favorite. I say give it two episodes to see if you can enjoy it's humor (and can find humor in stalking) and if you can definitely keep watching!

I might still be crazy because I liked Secret Crush on You more than this one 🤣🤣

Thank you so much for this review (though it was awhile ago lol). I thought I was going insane. I kept trying to continue it so I could see what everyone else did but I'm finding the last episodes so tedious to get through. I'm going to finally drop it, though Billy is so so so hot.
