This is my personal opinion but this drama is underrated. I don't know why everyone want huge plot twist these days to enjoy a drama. I also enjoy plot twists and more happening dramas. But at the same time, i really enjoy this kind of simple romantic dramas.. Actually this is my most favorite drama out of all the dramas currently airing. I can't wait till Monday to watch new episodes and i was really sad when i got to know it has only 12 episodes. I like how they gave a chance to rookie actors to play the male lead and second male lead(they played few roles in other dramas as well, but i don't think they got the recognition they deserved through those roles) they truly deserve such chance. For me this is a drama that i can re-watch multiple times without any worries. A drama that can take my worries away. A drama that gives me butterflies. So it's fair to say this is also one of the best dramas that I've ever watched.
I know this is silly thing to say but I feel bad for mu deok-jung uk couple. Even if bu yeon and naksu survives as themselves, it will still not be the same with jung uk. I don't know whether they will continue to show the romance between real naksu and jung uk but it will be very awkward for me to watch. It is same as giving a sad ending to mu deok-jung uk couple.
I was expecting Chinese historical-romantic dramas with no tragedies. I think dramas you suggest matches perfectly with my preference. Thank you so much ❤️
I have never been so addicted to a historical Chinese drama before. This is so beautiful.. Nicely done. No unnecessary tragedies yet the drama was never boring.. I really love this drama and appreciate the writer's effort to not making it a tragedy for any of the characters we loved (except for the queen). I was really afraid to see any of the Niao Niao's family members die. I'm so glad that never happened and even they were included in the final scene of the drama. Overall, I love everything about this drama. I kinda miss it now. Can anyone suggest me more Chinese historical dramas like this?
Im really gonna miss this drama. Although it has some flows, it has a great plot and all the actors are amazing. Even the Osts are perfect. It was a combination of all the genres which is the thing i really enjoyed the most. Overall it's really good. Last episode made me cry especially the time gye hoon was surrounded by all the happy memories he had with his family. It really broke my heart. I have lot of questions without answers but still I will always recommend this as a really good drama.
End of the episode 15 broke my heart into pieces. The Ost they play during gye hoon and gye young scenes are literally the most emotionally beautiful ost I've ever heard. I was low key hoping to see everyone alive including gye hoon's dad and gye young but i don't think they both survived. Im not ready for tomorrow's episode.
I really love the bromance they have with each other. It will not be fair if the writer ruins it😭 I'm not ready to see any of them dies or having serious fights
I expected a bigger plot twist than this. Since they revealed fisherman way too earlier as the culprit and dahyun's memory about having accomplice made me think fisherman was also working for someone we never expected. It's kinda disappointing the way they revealed the main culprit And also, I'm still not sure if Gyeyong really died since we still don't know about the culprits motive of kidnapping them in the first place.
Exactly my point... She just wants to prove what she believes. Not the truth. She doesn't want to open her mind to other possibilities. I never been this annoyed by a FL before. Hopefully she'll get better
So to male lead, Gopuri is still the guy who killed prosecutor Han. And he must be punished by law. It's clear…
I thought I'm the only who suspect the prosecutor guy. They're trying their best to hide the identity of the "gopuri" from viewers. So it has to be someone we already know or if it's just a random guy, i don't think they will try this hard to hide his identity.. So, my guess is, in front of the funeral hall male lead said to prosecutor he saw a burn mark on the hand of the real killer. Then he must've given the same kind of a mark to the accomplice? Or as you said, he must be the mastermind behind all of this then again, why are they trying to hide the identity of the accomplice? Im quite puzzled there. But I also belive prosecutor definitely has something to do with this whole thing
It's totally worth trying .. I've been watching kdramas over a decade now but still this is one of the best dramas that I've ever watched. It's a mix of lot of genres including thriller, mystery and romance.. Such a beautiful plot. I don't know why it got boring for some people but for me, i can't wait until next Monday.. This is kind of a drama which we can't predict the plot. So I'd definitely recommend you to watch this
Even after watching episode 12, I still don't belive the one who really did something to gyeyoung is the fisherman..maybe he just worked for someone else..when Lee jingeun said he'd never tell anyone what fisherman did 18 years ago, he said he wasn't the one who did it. At the same time, if you look at the one who shushed dahyun from the back, his lips were totally different from the fisherman. And if they were gonna reveal the culprit that way, why did they even bother to cover his face in other scenes at the beginning of the episode? I might be wrong but I strongly belive that someone else is behind the whole thing.
I must say the female lead's character in this drama is really annoying. Especially the way she treats her ex boyfriend. He did nothing wrong and yet she broke up with him without even giving a reason. Then she ghosted him but when he came back she treats him like he did something wrong. Even after knowing the truth, she still plays the victim which is really annoying.. I hate FML character.
And also, I'm still not sure if Gyeyong really died since we still don't know about the culprits motive of kidnapping them in the first place.
