The guys in paint are “invaders of Remus” and Remus was the Hae tribes homeland. which they were forced to flee and it’s how they end up in Arthdal. in Season 1 Mihol talks about this a little. So those painted guys worship this new god Ikomahis and it seems Saya is the inheritor of that god like Eunseom is with Aramun.

this also means that Saya and Taelha will be even more enemies now than they already were.

because he is a fake aramun. he self appointed himself aramun in season 1 and Tanya had to publicly co-sign it back then because she had no power to say no.

she’s extremely like FBB in real life. the actors even commented that she is the actor who is most like there character. if you watch all of the extras on Youku you will see she really speaks like that moves like that in real life. She’s awkward. I’m in love with her though!

Because he’s working through his feelings of guilt and loyalty to his tribe and also likely worries he could get himself in trouble either way. I’m assuming this is his redemption arc.

Finally we have our proof that Eunseom IS Aramun!!!! Woohoo!!!! We finally see some of his insanely badass evolved Igutu powers! He says he understands his mission is to be Aramun AND Inaisshingi and prevent the slaughter of the Argo and Arthdal people. Now, will Eunseom really be both and a seperate destiny awaits Saya that has yet to be revealed. Our poor Saya, where does he fit in this world!!!



The Neanthals gave Saya a talisman that belonged to the twins father Ragaz. The Talisman is meant for the oldest son, which is Saya. The Talisman resembles the carved fingers on the Great Gochiju Rock which I vaguely remember being related to the the end of the Hae tribes homeland. And who do we meet this episode?! We meet the father & son of the Hae Tribe that Mihol sent away in season 1 to look for answers about the Hae Tribe and Remus (Hae tribe hometown) and they recognize Saya’s talisman! And not in a good way!

We meet a new Igutu!!! There are more Igutus’s out there!!!! Are the Invaders of Remus (the guys in tribal paint) a whole tribe of Igutu’s???!!!! Too bad the Neanthals killed him but still! It seems like this new tribe are the invaders of Remus or something…. I think the enemy of the Hae Tribe. And they seem to revere the new Saya Talisman and think Saya is their god?

The Talisman that Ragaz kept to pass down to Saya represents a god Whose name is “Ikomahis” who we have yet to learn much about. But if the tribal paint guys are a tribe of Igutus, and Ikohamus is their god, Saya is god to the Igutu tribe who invaded Taelha’s tribes homeland !!! So we have we have even more reasons for Saya vs Taelha hatred!

I can’t wait to see Saya’s story unfold and see what choices he makes? Will he grow stronger, learn how to fight? Become a super warrior who leads a whole Igutu tribe? So many possibilities!

Yea it’s a complicated mythological story and you need to watch season 1 to even have a clue what’s happening in season 1.

Would it have been more perfect is SJK returned, yes undoubtably, as well as all of the other cast members who were unable to return. But sadly the producers had no choice due to scheduling so you just have to look at season 1 as the “Childhood” story and season 2 as the “adult” story. other series use different actors for the young and old versions and though AC wasn’t meant to play out that way, it’s a way to sort of rationalize it in your head while watching.

it’s not perfect and the recast takes major adjustment however, if you are truly truly a fan, you want to know how this story plays out and you want to see what happens, no matter what. And todays episode for instance, provides enormous enormous payoff for our hero Eunseom. So I really recommend you watch it!!!

We did. Episode 6 just uploads later than 5 because it has to finish airing in Korea first. I just watched both episodes on Disney + but 6 uploaded 1 hour later than 5.

I’ve waited 4 years for Episode 5 of season 2. it was EVERYTHING IVE WANTED!!!! EVERYTHING!!!!

There are no series remotely similar so it’s tough to recommend. There are other fantasy series though like Alchemy of Souls and Moving which are excellent. But completely different.

This drama really gets going in the second half and is WOW by the last arc because of all the building of each persons relationship to the other. there are parents tied to their children, coworkers and friends tied to each other, enemies,,frenemies, North Koreans, South Koreans, the CIA. Adult Superhero’s with phenomenal powers and their children who are just discovering they have powers and how to use them.

For me it’s an absolute 10 because it’s so beautifully woven as a coming of age story plus an espionage story plus a superhero story all intertwined magically.

ummmm I never said season 1 costumes were lacking and it was low budget. I have been a loud long standing huge lover of everything season 1 including the costumes which I personally felt were excellent.
