You won’t understand the characters emotions, motivations or reasoning at all if you don’t watch the prequel. This series is about deep emotions based on the events of Princess Agents. Not watching it first makes it kind of pointless to watch this as it won’t be nearly as understandable and meaningful.

To everyone asking: YES you need to watch Princess Agents first or you will be confused AF.

This sequel takes place as direct continuation from where Princess Agents left off and you 100% need to understand what happened that led up to Rebirth. This is not one of those sequels where you can just pick it up without watching the first series.
