Yes same!!! This drama has a refreshing unique plot with two incredibly well developed, layered, complex lead characters, its cerebral but also feeding us romance. This is everything I want in a historical romance drama. People complain so much about wanting new unique plots, well this is NEW AND UNIQUE. I just think people are never satisfied.

She’s mean to him because she wants to protect him and keep him away from her so he doesn’t get dragged into her game. She is plotting a very dangerous path and she has no idea that he’s also plotting a dangerous path so right now she isn’t looking at him as someone she wants to endanger by involving him in her life.

she will soon find out that he’s not so innocent and they will team up.

But her meanness to him has been to keep him away from danger. She wants him to just pursue what he wants and not get involved.
