like I said, if you were to scroll way down you’d find me being one of this drama’s earliest and strongest defenders. Even through 6 episodes I was strongly defending it but episode 7 was just bad. Episode 8 had a few moments but there was not nearly enough of what the story needs. it is what it is. Maybe it can be saved in the last episodes. we will see.

You’re missing the point. if 95% of the audience is displeased your execution is BAD. You also continue to misunderstand me. I’m not mad that the story isn’t a happy story. I PREFER angst and trauma and conflict in my romance. That’s not my issue. You have to use a character like Se Jin judiciously. You cannot dedicate more time to him and his nutjob antics and his loveline than the main couple. it’s simply not interesting enough to an invested viewer.

THAT part I know. You’ll see I was one of the early explainers and defenders of that part of the awkward, complicated, realistic rletationship storytelling. However the execution from 5-8 is absolutely ABYSMAL. There is a much better way to execute that than this excessive stupid Se Jin Plot device.

I haven’t read the novel but I’ve noticed a few things. Our girl is not the delicate princess people think she is. I’ve noticed the clear choice of alternate styling they give her when she goes to visit both her brother and Aunt. Both her hair ornaments and clothing are giving ready to fight if necessary. She jumped on the horse to run to find her missing cat lover so she’s clearly comfortable riding and my guess is, she may even know how to fight and martial arts from her time away? People who have read the novel can feel free to spoil me a bit in the replies. Am I reading into it too much?

Lost you Forever is one of my Top 3 Cdrama so of course this masterpiece is from the same director.

An ENTIRE episode wasted on Se Jin. Then 1/4 an episode on the stupid brother. Like what are we even doing here. I’m beyond annoyed because I was so down for this story in the beginning episodes and defended it. Their entire romance and relationship has been completely underdeveloped from ep 5-8 and wasted on idiotic other stuff. Which drastically hurts the overall show.

The first 4 episodes had to much potential and they’ve just flushed it down the toilet with nonsense. So disappointing. Hate everything about ep 7 & 8.

it’s the same Voice Actor they used for the treacherous Uncle (Wei Yan) in Pursuit of Jade and it’s usually for older actors. Super Bizarre they used it for Yan Ans voice.

That person is clearly not watching the drama and is just spewing nonsense.

Yes and yes. The theme music is incredible and the lyrics are so meaningful and moving and bring so much to the scene!!

that’s what I thought too but someone told me I was wrong. His real voice is a BILLION times better than any voice actor.

And I hope they don’t ever use this voice actor again for him. The voice for his role in Veil of Shadows was a billion times more fitted for him.
