I honestly hate when they use idols in BLs these days, because I know all they are doing is using the genre for easy publicity. They want all these young girls to fangirl over them and then hope that will transfer to the band. This whole show was just a tease and that’s not okay. I’ve loved plenty of BROMANCE or BLs without kisses because it wasn’t needed in the story. But honestly this one needed it at the end because I felt like their relationship was still ambiguous, nothing really tipped it over for me. You can say you’re in a relationship till the cows come home but you still need to look like you need to fall into the each other for me to be convinced. It never got there, so we still have a friend at then end giving his other friend flowers for becoming a police officer….congratulations.

People keep complaining About the bottoms being feminine and tops masculine…what you need to understand is that the BL industry is marketed towards TEENAGE girls, not grown women or gay men. It’s a fact. What they want is for the teenage girl to see herself in the bottom (hence the femininity) and the bottom be the man of their dreams. Let’s not delude ourselves in thinking this industry is in it for anymore than the money. This isn’t about promoting gay rights, it’s money driven. They pretend it’s more than that and while I think some actors have good intentions the people behind the scenes just want profits. This is the BOY LOVE industry and not gay love or grown men love…this is solely for teenage girls. Sorry to burst anyones bubble but that is a fact, nothing has changed in this industry since it’s inception, except it’s popularity which just means more people want a piece of the pie…

I find it amusing people talking about gay men like they are a factor in this industry, they are merely a source for profit, they don’t care if this fits reality or not, it’s all a teenage girl fantasy. Hence why there is so much toxicity in the industry because they can’t have their audience loose the delusions that they create.

Sweetie, you should read my other comment! I watch BL’s mainly for the aesthetics, I admit that, so there is absolutely no judgement here. I think you just missed my point and I don’t need to repeat myself. It’s all good, anyone can watch anything for any reason, I didn’t say that was ever a problem. Actually I don’t think anything is a problem. Just pointing out the realities of the industry and what it is marketed towards.

You failed to see my point though that these are made for Teenage Girls, who I can assure you as one a long time ago, do not care about plot holes, cinematography, acting, directing etc. all they care about is cute boys, kisses and romance....full stop. And please DO NOT attack me for generalising a teenage girl, I am not saying they are stupid or vapid but I do believe at the end of the day most of them (not all) just don't care if a show is good or not....it's about the boys. These shows would not be nearly as successful if this premise was not true. So I am assuming most of the comments about this being the BEST BL of 2022 or THE BEST BL EVER are teenage girls, because if adults are making this claim then, damn, this world is full of morons!

You have to see it from the perspective that BL's as a whole are marketed to teenage girls (definitely not Gay men - you are never going to be the intended audience for this Genre - and really they have little to do with the LGBTQ+ community, they are just about making money - sadly). Also as far as Korean BL's they have come a long way and are still in their infancy so you also need to see it from that standpoint. They are getting better but I agree they are not Masterpieces, but then do they really have to be? Though I do feel they have a more varied storyline than say Thai BL's which are not new and still produce the same basic plotlines time and again.

And people have been obsessed with Kdramas for while now, it's not a new thing. It's just they have jumped on the BL bandwagon, mainly for easy fame for the male leads. ...which is why I am assuming now it's becoming okay for Kpop stars to be apart of them....they want to boast their fame.

Honestly I watch BL's for the chemistry/romance & cute guys and I love foreign languages.....and I am not the intended audience either. I never go in expecting a lot and I drop many now as they just have ridiculous plot holes. This one I thought was good, not great, but at least I could follow the story.

Also I am assuming the user profile Mau3710 is not a native English speaker which a little obvious, so maybe go a bit less hard on people who are just trying their best in a language they are not fluent in, even if they don't agree with your point of view and are a little bit of an ass!

Maybe it depends on location, some countries have extreme weather. I live in Oz and our weather besides heat is basically mild. While Korea does have extreme weather conditions most of the year and they have obvious seasonal changes to contend with. I don’t get why people would be upset when they get it wrong, I mean where in the world to any weather forecasters get it 100% accurate? It may be a science but there are variables out of their control. But the world is full of idiots who like to get angry at stupid things so that is fairly accurate.

It’s because in Korean culture sadly getting divorced creates a stigma and she thinks her elder daughter is a now a lost cause, as no one will want to marry a divorcee. That’s why she blurted out that she was a divorcee and he replied about penguins basically getting a divorce and it didn’t matter to him. Sadly Korea has some very backwards thinking about social standing, for instance being raised by a single Mum makes you not marriage material either, they treat them like social pariahs.

I think its fairly obvious why it is done, these shows are marketed towards girls. I like it, but I hate it when it's done out of context, when it's done just to show off skin.

Okay, I’ve watched 6 eps and I’ve read the synopsis but besides being a bl I am still trying to work out wtf is going on in this series. Does anyone here actually know what Milk does? It seems like he works but then it feels like he is just a student hanging with his mates…what was with that questionnaire he did at the hospital place (not certain if it’s even a hospital) and what do they actual do besides walking around and talking to the doctors about who knows what when they are there? They give off a vibe like they are in some undercover operation and are gong to bust open some kind of corruption. And then there’s the lack of acting, directing and let’s not even start with the fact that the writer went missing right at the beginning of episode 1. I’ve never been more confused. How are we even only at halfway and yet nothing has actually happened and yet I still feel like I have been watching this for so freaking long? How in the actual heck does something like this actually get finished like this? So someone (and I’m assuming more than one person) actually saw this completed and went, “Yep, nailed it, this is perfect” Chef’s Kiss 🤌🏻 Because someone must have said that for this to exist. And seriously people rating this at 7.1…..does anyone have brain cells who rated this? And yet I still watch it…..was is wrong with me?! 😭😩😤 I’m tired, I think I need a nap. I might go skateboarding and see if I can cause an injury so a hot doctor can come and massage me back to health, in my own home (which seems ridiculously opulent considering I appeared to live in my office before this) because you know, that happens.

I pretty certain it’s not indicative of the series. It’s more a fan service thing to keep people excited until the series comes out. Though Team was a fairly whiny character when is came to Win. But hopefully they show more depth to his character in this series than in UWMA.

This is my curiosity more than criticism but has he had plastic surgery? To me it looks like he has had a chin implant? If you look at him in 2moons then GenY his chin looks different. I can tell he has had his teeth straightened and I know sometimes with dental work people can get things changed in their jawline, just curious if anyone else noticed this? His chin is way more prominent now.
