I know right....song min blamed him for giving him match winning pointers, I mean even coaches do the same. They analyse the opponent and set out a strategy to win a match. Of Xu Tan hadn't helped song min then he wouldn't have gotten chance to play in major leagues. Song min acted as if xu Tan told him to drug the opponent or something.
About the FL s in the drama, they never showed when Yu Ke Nan and his gf broke up. What was that with Lei Lei and her mother ( such a waste of time). FLs entry or exist into MLs life made no effect.
What happened to jia Yu , did yu Ke Nan ever find out who this party A was....so many unanswered parts
The only thing i liked about this drama was Xu Tan's journey also his muscles...lol

Till ep 40 , this show is a gem but after that it actually makes little to no sense. We all saw xu Tan and Yu Ke Nan made up when Liu shu announced his retirement and they three drank together like old times cut to in the press conference we could sense the cold war between the two. I mean how!!!!
Also, when Xu Tan had won many international games and came back to first team, coaching team didn't send send him to international games saying he is inexperienced but in the recent episode we saw song min who is a rookie and has no experience apart from being a training partner to Yu Ke Nan and xu Tan is allowed to participate in WTTC....I mean seriously sloppy writing.

I agree. I guess at this point of time makers are trying to show that Xu Tan is going to raise like a phoenix....

When Xu Tan was under confident they said he is weak and now he is confident they are saying he is selfish, only thinks about himself. When does Xu Tan's struggle going to end. I guess writer is going to leave him alone only after making him disabled

He runs a private gaming company right so he only cares about his profit. Yu Ke Nan should get out of there as soon as possible or he should quit drinking.

Yu Ke Nan should do something about his manager or whoever that fat ass is. Only 4 more episodes to go and I don't see an end to this. Will there be a second season to this

Lol!!! It took by storm when I saw his biceps. Because in SWAT uniform his waist looks thin, so I was not expecting those abs. His another drama is running in parallel called ping pong life, in that his biceps are begging to be shown. *Thirst is real my friend*

I somewhat agree with you. Their relationship started abruptly and ended abruptly. What does she expect from a national team athlete that he would hang around with her all the time. He never asked for this relationship. Remember how she forced herself in when his dad was in hospital, that was really awkward.

I think I get your point. The actors are great and story is mind blowing. The only complaint I have in this amazing drama is Mi Ke's hair style and her wardrobe. My god! They have made her look ugly. I don't understand why Chinese stylists are obsessed with pig tails. As the actress has round and big face these kinda hairstyles make her face look even bigger. Actually problem is Xing ke le's face is small so it actually stands out more . Her wardrobe is super outdated, it mad her look manly. We know the character Dr. Mi Ke is a simple , hardworking brilliant doctor, this doesn't mean the character should wear ugly , grandma style clothes. As I said these things made this brilliant actress look kinda manly. Even in the drama they have mentioned these in a funny way where Xing Ke lei tells her she is plumy, her face is big ( I really appreciate the writers for talking about such things in a very light manner). Every time i see her my heart aches as how they purposely made her look bad. For the first time a SFL in the series is good looking than the main FL.

Very very realistic couple. Unlike in other dramas, infact in all the dramas where leads breakup because they are moving to a different city or country which makes no sense

I am not saying Yu Ke Nan doesn't deserve the glory he is enjoying now but Xu Tan never got that opportunity nor encouragement nor coaching. Everybody kept discouraging him and to top it all Yu Ke Nan proposed to change the Coach.

But if you remember in the opening scene, they said Xu Tan never defeated Yu Ke Nan....for 10 years they have avoided each other

I know right. I am actually all in for the romance but in this drama it is really forced like super forced especially between Xu Tan and this university gal. She all of a sudden showed up in the hospital, I usually appreciate it but I was like how much do you know him to barge in like that. Parents are meeting her for the first time and she is acting like full daughter in law , also she is telling the parents that xu Tan will take care of it , I am like did I miss something...why they have to make this so forced.....ping pong was going so well, why this forced romance

But don't you think, Xu Tan did so much for Yu Ke Nan and I agree Yu ke Nan considered him as his brother but Xu Tan was kicked out of the team because of your instigation and now you are enjoying world dominance without guilt.

I guess I am late to the party, I am still in ep 29. My heart aches to see Xu Tan in so much pain. Now nobody is there to push him. I cannot wait for him to kick Yu Ke Nan's ass

If you have watched it carefully then initially she asked her son everytime whether he likes Chen Shi Yun and not like siblings. Also, they have grown up together so they get along well so no need to push them to get even further right

Exactly, Lei Lei 's story, her mother what's the point of this. It didn't add anything to the story.

I am in ep 25 and this coach Zheng annoyes me to the core. It was really evident from the get go that Zheng didn't like Xu Tan and Yu Ke Nan. What's the point of giving them a chance to enter the first team and now you put them under Zheng. He just discourages them . Never trained anybody apart from whom he thinks are the champions. I want him to get fired from his post
