I like your theorising! The mistress is definitively involved with Stella. No production wastes money on creating…
Ofcourse...we will have to wait and see as I sudden appearance of the mistress conveniently after junik's death is suspicious....

I used to think junik's mother is a badass but she didn't have a clue that her younger son, the prosecutor was involved, or he has bugged the house.

If you see the picture ( there was only one) in that junik has placed both hands on the kid, like the kid has asked for a picture or something....then it looked like the mistress was added later....you can go and check that.... The picture didn't look natural... apart from that, there were pictures of the kid and nothing about junik or junik holding a baby.....it's just one picture

wow, bravo. I really think your analysis is spot on. Whatever the outcome you should be a writer or a detective.
I don't know whether you were being sarcastic or meant it.... I will take it as positive response to my analysis

Title Tempest Spoiler
Ok...."Dead man tell no Tales".....lol
Junik is dead and he cannot defend himself on anything so it is easy to accuse him or resent him......I really think the husband Junik didn't cheat on Munju and here are the reasons.....

1. I really thought the second phone that was discovered was used to communicate with the mistress but to my surprise it was just used to communicate with Anderson Miller and there could be others" . The way the bodyguard freaked out and tried to go somewhere is because he discovered something big and nothing related this mistress or the kid.

2. The mistress claims that she was with him for the last 10 years and the kid is 9 years old. So, she claimed that she was in love with the husband but didn't come forward with the relationship or didn't demand to give a marital status to her and the kid. No woman would see her love sleeping with someone else or being in an uncertain relationship when the kid is in picture) She conveniently came forward when he is dead and there was one stupid photoshopped picture on the wall. The paternity test might have showed relationship with the kid and the grandma, as there is no Junik , it still not clear as to this kid was his. 10 years also aligns with the time when she came to Seoul.
I think the kid is the brother prosecutor's.son, so the relationship test /DNA test would have showed relationship with the grandma/kid. As, he had bugged Junik's bedroom , so it was easy to get info like "This design is famous from 2000 years" or " The necklace itself""when they have slept together"...The prosecutor brother even had the intimate conversation recorded so it was easy to fill in hana before she met Munju.

3. I think Hana is "Stella Young", she approached the prosecutor brother and seduced him and had a kid with him. Junik knew about his brother's extra martial family and that is how he knew she was "Stella Young", when he had gone to her house to confront, that is when he might have left his bag and jacket and he was killed in two days as he knew she was the spy. She convinced the prosecutor brother to kill him saying"He could run for presidential post instead" or " junik was the spy" as she had all the info as she herself was the spy. (🤯 Mark my words, the mistress is Stella Young)

4. The kid had many drawings in different countries proves that they were in different countries as she had bought or done business in different countries purchasing the parts for nuclear weapon. Hi s drawings are the clue and the ML will connect the dots.

Lastly, no father will leave no penny to his son when he knew his life was in danger. He left his entire fortune for his wife and nothing to son, common.....I saw few commenters said, he did it because he wanted to protect them but how did he forget that mistress won't come forward saying the kid is his or he had an extra martial affair with her putting herself in the limelight.....

It's disappointing to see munju believed that Junik had a second family in a few seconds without even trying to verify but didn't believe he was a spy when all the evidence showed he was.....

It did, thank you also, i have replied back to your findings in the above link. For me, it makes perfect sense about Shen Chen not being Ye Hai Tan's biological child. Her attachment , connection with the ML was too strong for her to have had a kid with someone else. Also, why was that specific anchor mark letter could be delivered through the mailbox? How did the old A'Xun have a blank letter with the anchor mark with him all these years as if he knew he would write a letter in the future.
Also, your deduction about Yu Nian's conscience travelling doesn't make sense, when clearly her friend was involved and also the watchman

Title Twelve Letters Spoiler
1. My theory is the guy who got the last letter in the ending scene was Shen Cheng. How? I don't know, but somehow…
Thank you so much for your reply, appreciate it....
1. I thought the same about the last guy considering how tall he was but shen chen is/was a result of the fl and his dad, i mean, he is the product of the intercourse of these specific people......or else, he won't look like what he looked.... this is always tricky with the time travel drama.....
2. It makes sense about your logic, but the past ML and FL only knew about Yu Nian, apart from that they didn't about her current place or where she grew up .....As ML, never went to prison so i wonder how they might have come across Yu Nian's actual dad as the guy died pretty early.

Hmmmm....questions...
1. How can Yu Nian remember Shen Cheng when he was never born? Does that mean even the watchman, her friend also remembers?
2. When Yu Nian woke up after the last letter, she was in a well decorated room, if the ML never met her and took care of her and her grandma died then how did she manage to achieve this alone?
3. This bothered me throughout the drama thinking why didn't the FL never asked for help from her teacher Tan? I mean, she knew that the FL is a good student so she wouldn't have believed the nonsense from the dad about FL being insane. Even ML never asked for help from the teacher as her mother was the one who saved the ML when he was left all alone when he was small.
4. How did Ye Yibo still had the body of his wife in the sack after so so many years?
5. How did FL in the present die? She took her old dad in her car and drove to the cliff, did they have physical fight over there? Did both of them fall off the cliff? Her body showed signs of assault like strangling, which means the old dad managed to strangle her?
6. How did the old A'Xun have a blank letter with the anchor mark with him all these years as if he knew he would write a letter in the future.

what did i miss? can someone help me in understanding....

This is what i understood, lol...
She is not good at expressing her emotions, hides it well (It's in the brief in 1st episode)
She regrets not showing much love to her husband, its in ep3. She was pregnant before, not sure what happened to the baby, in ep 2.
She loved her husband , just didn't express much when he was alive as she said he was a warm and loveable kind, in ep 3.

True..... Most of the dirty things or hardwork is done by her mother in law or the ML , she is just there for the face value, what a missed opportunity with actress Jun Ji hun......Honestly, i don't want romance in this as her husband was a good man and they were married for some 20 years. He died infront of her eyes so it won't look good if she suddenly falls in love with the ML

Is it only me....I mean...
1. everything is coming out so easily and the bad guys are coming out on their own
2. The motive which is the nuclear warhead submarine and the various country's intention...i mean was out by ep2.
3. The writer has tried the best to show that the FL munju is a bad ass, touch women but it is not coming across. She is making amature mistakes...like, when they were chased and ML took her on a mountain, she tried to switch on the mobile flashlight....Why isn't she recording the conversations, she can use phone here i mean the president is trying to cover up her husband's assassination and others were trying to frame him as a spy/traitor.
4. There is no mystery element left
5. FL trust the ML from the get go, i didn't understand why......
6. Some dialogues are random and doesn't make sense.
7. The letterS Anderson Miller risked his life to send, looks like half the politicians have already seen it, ROFL (I hope FL has taken pictures of it)

The episodes are just expressing, without any emotional connect....nobody is grieving for the dead husband/son....FL shed one tear on the bridge and cried for 0.0001 sec infront of the old man in ep 3. She said she would open up to him one day , lol, when they were married for 20 years.....the dialogues lack emotions.... After 3 episodes, i am still not clear on the stand of the Husband "Did he pushed for reunification of the Korean peninsula or not"" What does Munju want to achieve by becoming the President? Does she want reunification or not? How is this related to the nuclear war which North is aiming for"..... The dialogues are confusing.

You shouldn't be afraid to ask more questions... If something doesn't make sense then it doesn't....you shouldn't justify just because it is easy that way.... remember, we are investing time and time is money

Sorry, that's not the tyrant definition.... A Tyrant king is someone who is cruel from the get go.... It is not related to someone 's death or any other personal reasons...they are just cruel rulers...

Sorry , if I sounded rude

The king is supposed to be a Tyrant and he is not supposed to trust people easily but looking at how he is already in love with the FL....it is loosely written and in those days, most assassination happened through food poisoning, so seeing him enjoying her food without questioning.....i mean, he literally bought her so how is he trusting her??? Perks of being leads i guess

Finding closure with the mother - think it’s an Asian thing in general honestly. Hell will freeze over before…
Your two paragraphs are contradicting....you might have not realized it yourself.....
You said, the bar is super low for kdramas moms and in the 1st sentence it was about being an Asian mom... So the society and the writer has convinced you and kinda most of us that " it's an understandable action from an Asian/kdramas mom".... But, when it came to SML's sisters, it was not ok.... SILs, in general become evil for caring for their brothers unlike moms, people don't understand them.....in actuality, it was the moms who did wrong to their kids and the sister in laws didn't do anything in action like that.....

Ok...confused.....
SFL and SML, looks like had some history in highschool. She is now under the same agency as an actor which is run by SML's mom. So, till now she didn't know that SML is the potential heir to the company or never bumped into him at the company but FL knows about him.
