I liked this show up until the time skip in episode 31. Everything after that i am in denial of and it doesn't exist in my mind. They ruined the entire characterizations of whole TWO main characters for the rest of the episodes. The one who suffered the most is Du Lei, who, from some stupid reason, has his entire character arc destroyed in the last few episodes, with them making him regress completely to how he was in the beginning of the series (or even worse???). Like, wasn't the entire point of his character that he got away from his toxic family and changed for better?? And Jun?? They make her want to resign from the position she loved just, i don't know, please her boyfriend?? Because she never wanted to leave that job before? Denying the entire point of her story that she was strong enough to be in the same field as Yuan Shuai?? Especially since its clear as fuck that he doesn't seem to have the same problems as her when working with his position being so much higher and much more stressful than hers. What a load of bullshit. That's not my main character there. UGH. This show should have ended on episode 32 where the main conflict of the series was resolved, but it continued on needlessly and ruined the show for me almost completely. I would have given this show 7/10 before episode 32 but now i can only give it 4/10 because how atrocious the ending has been.
