This started out great, I really enjoyed the first two episodes, but I just finished watching episode 3 and it was so BORING I'm sorry 😭. It's like it was just a fill-in episode, nothing exceptionally interesting happened and I can't feel the chemistry between the two mls. I have no doubt the two actors have great chemistry between each other in real life, but for now this is a no for me. The romance started out too fast, no one is questioning the sudden change regarding their personalities, the whole community of people who t through universes too is also just weird. It would be awesome if we could know what's going on in their universe, how their parents, friends and acquaintances are doing after their near death experiences. Please just give me something 😭
I loved the first episode, unlike others I didn't find it confusing at all and mind you, this isn't my usual genre, but I do think it's interesting. I just hope they don't mess up the ending with all this body switching drama. Talay in Tess's body and Pakorn could actually end up falling for each other, but Pakorn would fall for Tess not knowing that it isn't actually him and for Talay it could end up in two ways: 1) he falls in love with Pakorn but at the end of the day he has to go back to his world or 2) he doesn't fall for Pakorn, goes to back to his world nonetheless, but Pakorn is still in love with Tess and when Talay and Tess finally switch bodies, going back to their respective universes, Tess doesn't have feelings for Pakorn. That would be crazy, please find a solution. I really don't want a repeat of The Shipper's ending or anything similar.
All these comments saying that Earth has got wrinkles, his face is sagging, he is TOO OLD and things like that are honestly exaggerating. Calm down, the man isn't going to kick the bucket anytime soon 💀
For those who want to watch this series, please do. It's not completely BL as at the end of the day the ml is really just in love with the new personality of his best friend, who is a girl. I got to the middle of the series and I purposely read some comments to spoil the ending for me and after reading reviews, I can say that I'm either going to drop this or for sure skip numerous scenes. I got what I needed to know, that's it. If I actually decide to keep on watching this drama, it's probably going to be because of the amazing humor that both Jennie and First give us through their extraordinary acting. Ohm deserves to be applauded as well. Overall it's a very cute drama, but in the middle of the series the story ends up taking a turn that I'm pretty sure not many liked or will like. *SPOILER ALERT* The fact that Kim actually dies is such a letdown honestly, the real Kim was basically actually present in only one episode in the whole series, which is the first one. I'm pretty sure everyone will be waiting amxiously for his return, to get an explanation for everything from his point of view, to see how his relationship with Way is going to change. But no, we get absolutely nothing. The fl "Pan" in Kim's body actually falls in love with Way and Kim's brother, after finding out the truth about the soul switch, falls in love with Pan in Kim's body. This leads to a weird incestuous relationship and also major disappointed in all the bl fans who were looking forward to Way and Kim's relationship, be it romantic or not.
I didn't wait for 2 years for a disappointment such as this one honestly. I know Lee Joong Gi, amazing actor with great facial expressions while I have no idea who the female lead is, but nevertheless I'm not convicend they would be able to portray the characters as well as Song Joong Ki or Kim Ji Won. Those were their characters, perfectly designed for them and the fact that we are all accustomed to seeing their faces is also going to make getting used to new actors difficult. And what's all this about a 10 year time skip? I hope it's a joke. Seriously, they turned a masterpiece that had so much potential into an utter embarrassment. I'm not saying the whole cast should be back, but at least the two main characters should be the same. Now I'm not so sure I'm going to even watch the first episode of the second season once it's out, I'd better just stick with the fascinating story that was season one.
Can we talk about how great Pran's mother's acting is?? She killed that last scene in ep 10 when she was talking to Pat's father. She was able to convey all the right emotions not only through her words, but especially through her expressions. I got really emotional during that scene, I applaud her for her great performance.
