Really love this drama, but all the evil women seem to have holes in their brains or something. Like they hitched their horse to a derailing train and don’t know how to get off it. The only one I can kinda respect is Li Changle, cause she at least realized her own foolishness; way too late and she’s still evil asf but at least she changed? Idk I just don’t like how they wrote the women to be so obsessed they can’t see anything else. Like Changru, she’s so cunning and smart, how the heck did she get so dumb in later episodes just to kill Li Weiyoung? After ep 44 all the characters start getting extremely dumb. Well I’m my opinion ig. Also, f the writers. Changle was a Chiyun, Touba Jun could’ve got the antidote from her or her maid. Sigh……

I really don’t get it either, I’m not even complaining about how it is, but the chemistry between the main leads is nonexistent. There’s nothing, nada, zilch. Every time there was a supposedly “intimate” moment, I found myself cringing at the acting. They’re good actors, they portray their roles well, but they just don’t ✨click✨

I am all about sad endings and crying my eyes out, I find it cathartic. But this was just so stupid that I was expecting YSG to pop out at any moment claiming amnesia. Like, for real? Could they not have done anything else with the ending??? It was nonsensical and ruined an amazing story. Like, if they wanted a bittersweet ending they could have just broken up or something, why’d they have to kill YSG off? He deserved better. >:/ Whoever wrote this *twist* can choke on my chesticles and die.

I liked this drama but most of the time I hated the MCs more than the (supposed) villains. This was all the dramas fault, the novel doesn’t have so many plot holes, so I’d recommend to read the novel first. Also, we saw the son 2 times. 2! WTH? And that ending(s) was a disgrace, but that’s Chinas regulations fault, like most of the dramas that are originally novels. They always gotta ruin something.
