I don't care about the age gaps. Now that I think of it, how big the age difference between the actors has to be to be considered an age gap? 1yr? 2yrs? 5yrs? More? What bothers me more is actors in their late 20s, early 30s playing teens. That should be a tag as well: Real age different from character's.
Itβs called DISCRIMINATION AGAINST OLDER WOMAN π΅!!!!! π !! I notices many dramas will be boycotted nowadays…
I have noticed a number of such cultural differences between Europe and Asia: such as stress put on person's looks not character and very strict age hierarchy, even one year difference is extremely important. I am glad too, as you said, here in Europe there are no such issues!
Why are people so obssessed with actors' real life age gaps? Why is it so important that you tag a drama with it? As long as they are legally adults, it does not matter!
I do not know what is it about this drama. It is like Mission: Impossible mission recordings: it is deleted from my memory as soon as I finish watching it. Or an Agatha Christie book: I never remember who is the culprit when I reread a book. I don't get it! This is the fifth time I am watching it and it is all so new and fresh. I really forgot everything! I have never watched a series which left no impression whatsoever in my mind! Weird! The drama is really good but it just does not stick!
Hello Giuca :-) Thanks a lot for your comment and insight on my review ^^. I'm grateful to be able to share various…
I was just as frightened about him being obgyn but then I figured his body/brain remembered everything that happened during the 10yrs before he skipped....when he adjusted to the situation after a short period with his friend jogging his memory! My theory which helped me enjoy the show more!π It was hard to swallow otherwise! And again, the ending was messy! But high marks for entertainment!
I just find it so entertaining to read different takes on a show.π₯° I do not like Skam or Skins and American Pie makes my skin crawl with horror because of the second hand embarrassment. Nevertheless, I, for one, loved this drama, found it entertaining, light and educational at the same time without it being too much on the nose and preachy. I liked every couple (though what are the chances, in real life, to have such a diverse group of close friends?) and the way they managed to make difficult questions arise naturally in the course of the story! And you are so right about the soundtrack: I loved the songs but they did give the series a different feeling, more universal than asian. The fantasy element, though it provided a good momentum at the beginning went mostly missing by the end and the solution was a bit messy. Thank you for another insightful review!

Enjoy! The subs are a bit lacking but it is not too much of a disturbance!
