I can't watch this. I literally detest the FL. I hate everything about her interactions and her thought processes.…
The FL is rude, annoying, insensitive and unpleasant. And the MLs in k dramas often fall under the spell of such FLs, humouring them instead of sending them off to hell! The more brash and crass they are, the more they fall for her! I cannot stand those kinds of FLs. Off into the bin with this drama!
It’s a cultural difference. Just Italians may have wine with every meal, many Koreans drink alcohol almost every…
It is not the fact that they drink and eat: they do it excessively. And that is not good for your health. Society(your boss, your school seniors, your older family members etc.) who demands of you to drink too much when you cannot for whatever reason, should maybe evolve as our societies did. As you say, every country has its cultural traditions. Eating and drinking are important in my country(France) as well but never to the degree Koreans show us. I do not drink alcohol myself and I was never humiliated by my boss for refusing a drink offered by him.But who am I to judge other countries? All I am saying is that I find the sight of drunk people in dramas (staggering around, puking, shouting, talking nonsense or telling secrets) NOT cute at all...and they are trying to makes us believe just that!
I found this article on the page of the drama I am currently watching(The Ship of Theseus). This being my favourite genres, alongside romance, I just had to read it. It is excellent: extremely well written and amusing: those games throughout the article were spot on; the last giving me time travel, just what I had been thinking about! I am marking it for future reference since there are many dramas mentioned here i would love to watch....Thank you for writing this amazing piece and I hope to have the opportunity to read many more! Pretty please!
I am halfway through and loving every second of it!It is moving forward at a breakneck speed. And then after all those red herrings, wow....Brilliant! It reminds me a lot of Tunnel just in reverse! Plot twist upon plot twist upon....one plot twist too many!
You’re so wrong. ZeeSaint became famous when they played in Why R U which was their only bl together .. Also…
No, I did not say that. I did not say that the people watched thai original because of Zee & Saint: I said that TODAY they have a huge fan base (because of the series) who do not want to accept people liking the korean version more. That's all. I personally never liked the thai series. I found it very cringy. But that is MY taste. Objectively speaking, korean version is shorter and they did away with a lot of filler scenes from thai version and that's why I prefer it. I don't care about any actors or ships, thai or korean, I care about the story and how it's told!

Zee & Saint are famous today because of Why R U? They are so famous with a huge fan following, who do not want to give the korean version the benefit if the doubt. You find thai original great. I don't. Am I allowed not to like it? BTW, what hate am I spreading?
I love watching toxic relationships too 🤫 I just can't stand cowardly characters who are too weakSorry 🤦🏻♀️🙃…
Yes I agree with you about Hira. I felt the same way The second season explains their relationship better. They are both deeply danaged and insecure characters. They just show it in a different way.
I like your review! I personally loved this but I like watching toxic relationships in dramas: such guilty pleasure watch!🤣 Interesting choice of pronouns (Hira=she/her). Did you do it on purpose?
What would a K drama be without the classic: I'm breaking up with you for your own good! Idiotic and illogical here! Usually they have phones litteraly glued to their hands but not when they really need them!
Cute and sweet and lovely with some solid acting and chemistry. What more do you need from a short web drama? PS It has been 5 days now, but I cannot stop thinking about the korean society and how some people are cruel, unforgiving and mostly jumping to conclusions! There are a few scenes in this short bl lightly illustrating that: utmost importance of beauty, money makes the reputations, poor people are by definition cheaters, lack of parental love when money is involved, heavy drinking, hierarchy in society !
Why do female characters in K dramas loose every brain cell when they are in love and act like cliché victorian virgins? He is bleeding all over the place and she is wasting time crying.....
I cannot stand those kinds of FLs.
Off into the bin with this drama!
