I think AiB is jdrama with the highest rating on MDL, cmiiw. Other equally good or better shows barely get past 8,5 😌.

Script is written by the Drive My Car's writer, starring Cannes best actor winner.

Got instantly hooked on the firt two episodes. Cinematography is eye-pleasing, the pace isn't too slow.
Damn Yuya Yagira is so charismatic.

Some people were comparing AiB to Squid Game back then due to the absence of social commentary etc in it unlike in SG. Now in season 2 we got what the writer tried to convey, all those serious questions about life, and people are still complaining and wanting it to be more focused on the gory and thrilling side.

You can only watch it legally on Netflix, since it's a Netflix original.
It may be available ilegally on some pirated sites but I have no idea.

What a satisfying ending. I think I like season 2 better than the previous one. Maybe it's not the best in term of acting (especially compared with other Netflix's doramas from this year like The Journalist or First Love), it sometimes also has that shounen manga type of dialogue. Regardless, AiB is still very enjoyable to watch and I believe it sets the bar high for other manga/anime adaptations.

jdrama are always blindly rated high, are you kidding? Sometimes yes, but most of the times it's rated way lower than kdrama, one of the best dramas last season Ishiko to Haneo only rated 7,9 though it's neatly written and well acted.

do you prefer romance? maybe you'd also like Kikazaru koi ni wa riyuu ga atte.

It's MDL after all, some amazing Jdramas are struggling to get 8 or above

I love them too, especially Yagi Rikako, she's stunning, and also can act.

I love everything about this drama, the cinematography, the plot, the acting.

Ishiko to Haneo from last season and Shizuka-chan to Papa are also good
