Good acting, good visuals. I will be following his next projects.

His character is one of the worst written in the whole drama lol. Li Tongguang is inconsistent and to top it off the writers did not give him proper development. He is generic and predictable. I guessed what his next moves would be and it was easy to do because all his writing was based on being obsessed with Ruyi lol.

He was presented as intelligent, strong and cunning, but such qualities were not highlighted for the sake of the plot itself. The writers wasted all the potential to the point that Li Tongguang became a character to ridicule in the last episodes (e.g., distracted in battle, wanting to marry his master while she was "passed out") lol.

From start to finish he remained the obsessed young man who didn't see the big picture. There is no complexity, no dimensions. In what way is he the best character? Lol, I understand you like him but we don't need to lie to make our preferences valid.

The other characters, on the other hand, do have more coherence, but if coherence is vanilla we can only laugh lol.

I do not consider that the visual level of the actors and actresses from South Korea, Taiwan and Japan are at the level of those from China. The Chinese have worse productions but the visuals of their artists are varied, and even if there is plastic surgery, they don't look as if they have all gone under the same knife.

It depends on the moral weight. It's not hurtful that Angelababy watched a cabaret show (even though she wasn't careful enough knowing how her country is), people even compare her to the scum called Kris Wu lol.

I like the visuals of both of them, but neither of them is particularly good at acting.

I agree, I love to see Angelababy on variety shows, but it irritated me that she didn't plan her actions knowing that her country's industry and government would not leave her alone.

It was a dating scandal, not a cheating scandal. And it was truly pathetic. I was alarmed when I read the titles of the articles, but once I got into the content, I laughed because I still couldn't believe that there are people who forget that their idols are human lol.

Kudos to this drama for featuring a strong and intelligent female lead, from start to finish. I thought her character was going to decline as the episodes progressed because it's common in C-dramas for this to happen, but Ren Ruyi stayed consistent. I didn't really like the plot but I'll keep this drama in my heart for the female lead.

The visuals of most of the cast are attractive. My shallow side will definitely watch this even if the plot gets bad lol.

It's not only in anime, in C-dramas itself there are few actually smart and strong female leads. The ones that start out consistent, fall apart halfway through and become damsels in distress, which only benefits the male lead, because even the plot becomes bland with such changes. And China has a habit of dumbing down LF when it comes to novel adaptations (e.g. Rise Of Phoenixes, Till The End Of The Moon, Lost You Forever). So I hope this drama can introduce us to a majestic female lead.

Joseph Zeng's looks are inferior to Li Yitong and Deng Wei, it will end up being like in The Longest Promise where 90% of the cast overshadowed Ren Min for not being attractive enough compared to her co-stars.
