Guys.. Go to The Blue whisper page.. Its already wrap-up.. We can see another Reba drama soon.. https://twitter.com/dilireba_/status/1401532277255929859?s=19
khatun's plans for mimi only works bc the story needs it to work lol...like she just sends her along as a slave…
But fact is even weirder than fiction they say! Long ago I decided that events in the drama happen because the script says so! But carry on I enjoy the speculation.
Marcus Sim is not a fan of Dilraba I'd say. Can I say that even? But reducing the drama's worth down to a lack of a kiss is wearing a bit thin! He's milking it! He didn't mention Reba's birthday celebration drone light displays this year and all the spectacular, illuminated fanfare for TLB in different cities! (He did mention it last year and seemed to doubt it!) Deliberate omission I'd say!
Your SFL means strong female lead? Yes, this is an amazing drama. Even the worst of the charaters in this drama…
Same! I like to binge a completed novel too! Like you I love fantasy/historical novels the most too, although it's been a while since I read something good. I like Raymond E Feist and and his 'Empire' trilogy; features a strong female protagonist. Also David Gemmell. I wish The Blue Whisper had some illustrations with it! I could totally visualise Reba and Ren Jia Lun as the main characters. Can't wait for the drama to air. I'll checkout novel updates. Thanks for tip!
I'm surprised by how well this drama was received. I think it's a solid 7/10. However, I think it's mostly because…
I was just watching a clip of TLB and thinking exactly the same thing about Reba not looking like a man in any shape or form! The lipstick is a jarring note but it has something to do with a make up brand sponsoring TLB. Girls masquerading as boys is a common trope in c-cinema and only a couple of times have I been reluctantly persuaded. I don't get annoyed or insulted by such dramas, I just find it amusing. Throughout history women have cross-dressed as men and got away with it too!
The TLB is based on the well known manhua and we know that Chang Ge is a teenaged girl, that is a given, we also know that she is a tomboy and well versed in arts of warfare, and all that it entails, So, could a man have played this role? But then, when he dressed as a woman we would have rolled over laughing!
I read somewhere that Dilraba actually cut her eyelashes shorter and gained weight for the role and she learned how to walk like a man. Her voice is dubbed but it's not too shrill like in many c-dramas.
The producers of TLB said that Dilraba was like Li Chang Ge Xing had stepped out of the manhua. Unexpectedly I've loved this drama so much and can see no flaws in it!
Onelovestorie I've ran out of more reasons to persuade you and hope someone else can do it better than me! I'm not too good at this and I hope I didn't offend you!

I searched for it long and hard and eventually I found the link here in MDL! I'm looking for Legend of AnLe now in English and pretty soon someone will have translated it I hope! I assume you have found The Blue Whisper? If not then here's the link: https://wayeast.weebly.com/

Knowing Leyan isn't in the manhua, I speculated about her role in TLB initially but decided it was a good move. LuSi's portrayal of Leyan was very sweet and I enjoyed the sisterhood between the cousins and her taming of Hou Du but I must admit that I skipped her parts in my second and subsequent viewings of the drama. I wonder how ChangGe escapes Hou Du in the manhua?
Dilraba is mesmerising as Li ChangGe but then I don't usually notice secondary leads when I'm watching her. She has such dignity and presence without overacting. I agree with you that Li Chang Ge is the main character and watching her journey from an impulsive teenage prodigy to a wise and enlightened woman is what makes TLB so gripping.

SFL = Second female lead I think. Leyan was unrecognisable after her ordeal but her love for Chang ge remained consistent. I liked that about her. Downloaded the Manhua but I'm struggling with it; it's a shame since I've read The Blue Whisper twice! Wish it was straight forward novel format but love the illustrations though; strangely, the lack of details in the comic are filled in my mind from watching the drama. I will persist just for the beautiful artwork.
Does anyone here knows what is the viewcount if the long ballad on tencent video. I dont know the numbers but…
Because TLB started in March compared to LOF for example which started in Jan or Feb? The numbers are only up to mid May as well. Overseas votes are not counted I think. I could be wrong! I got this info from Marcus Sims channel on You tube.
Li Changge's IQ and her inquisitive natureI am at the manhua, Vol 5, chapters 26-32,I just see what a high IQ…
Thanks for this insight; a lot of viewers couldn't accept that Chang ge had this intelligence and ability for someone so young, even though we saw many examples of it throughout the drama.
