The posters above? Do you find him not resembling Wu Lei the actor or the character in the drama? Poster will have been photshop'd a bit I imagine and is one dimension whereas the dramashows more angles of the face. Is that what you mean?
Agree and watching clips of that scene plus your summation gives me goose bumps!
Yup! I'm glad too. Let's be able to express our emotions about any aspect of TLB without self-consciousness or censure. If we cried over a scene then let's rejoice in it cos it shows we are human! LOL!
Yes, the actress who plays Li Changge is an Uyghur. Her visual similarities to the Changge in the manhua was one…
I'm a bit hesitant to suggest Hot Girls drama for obvious reasons (LOL!) but it is a strong role for Dilraba and garnered her millions of views and international recognition/fans. It's not the best but engaging enough.
Just watch it and find out for yourself, what's courage got to do with it! LOL! If you dont like Dilraba then…
I don't think you will be disappointed. I watched Love and Redemption too and I rate this higher; much less of a convoluted storyline and different genre. ( I still liked it very much though!)
Li Changge is a poster girl for female empowerment. Any crying from her is purely a cathartic release and does not insult women in any way but adds depth to her character's development. Even her enemies acknowledge her strength and capability. I feel that you value your time and like to make sure something is worth it first?
I'm watching it for the third time and many here have watched it more times. It would be interesting to know what you make of it when you add your opinions here?
I really really loved Hao do and Lian's love story than the Main leadsthe journey that lian went through and her…
When we first meet Hao Du (HD) he slices a defenceless man's jugular in front of the princesses, HD is a one dimensional character who follows orders to kill and chases Li Changge (LC) for most of the drama instead of finding the princess exclusively. It's strange that he likes the timid princess but it is a pretty common and gimmicky trope in many C-dramas . (Clever method by production to appeal to a larger audience) The cold-blooded male lead falling for the helpless female lead. I can see this being a very swoon worthy plot for some viewers.
HD inspires a lot of hate and is unable to see or refuses to see the bigger picture. In Shou zhou he is about to kill the injured LC and is thwarted by Qin Lao. Being called a puppet of his father provokes little to no reaction in him. HD states that what is happening in the city has nothing to do with him and he comes back to kill LC again when she is grieving in front of the Governor's coffin. He redeems himself a little when he doesn't kill her but finally backs off and even pities her for being vilified by Shou Zhou citizens. HD only backs off when he learns that LC has been killed by the Ashile tribe.
Only when it's spelled out for him does HD understand that Li Chang Ge is not an enemy of Tang. The slap Leyan delivers is much needed and very satisfying to jolt Hao Du out his implacability. We know how different and multi dimensional ASun is who can even admire and respect his enemies. (Been trying to write this for hours but get distracted by life so I've lost my train of thought)
I've been planning to watch this but no courage to actually start. Just one question, is dilraba's character overwhelmingly…

For me, A'Sun initally was interested in him for her capabilities and circumstances when she was disguised as…
Very succinct. Agree totally. ASun says rhetorically about Changge "Such a person exists in this World?" He is that impressed by her from early on. There is a look of wonder on his face.
I may give the drama you've recommended above a try since I have nothing to watch right now.I'm currently reading…
Oh! Thank you for the link. Bless you! I have an app to read epubs but will it be too big to transfer? ( Sorry! I'm not that computer savvy) I'll try out the link first.
