I don't know why ppl take a swipe at Reba's whole fandom for any comment a random person makes.

That's a bit unfair, only one comment and it could be just spite to start a fight because there's only 6 years between them, not that much older; he's a good actor and there may not be any romance in this drama but even if there was it's not controversial at all.

I watched Tientsin Mystic with Li Xian and really enjoyed it. I loved the style of it and the storyline. Mystery, supernatural and suspense are my favourite genres and this drama had it all. I was gripped throughout and binged it over a few days.

It is tricky to keep the title and story within the bounds of propriety for Chinese audience and creativity for non Chinese as you say. But yes, I wish Chinese censorship catered a little more to overseas viewers too. Do you have to translate from Portuguese or are you bi-lingual?

'China has some strict censorship regulations so they might change the concept of the 'earth owls' to aliens? we'll probably see if they change the Chinese title (which literally translates to 'an owl rising in the green soil' )' I like the name of the novel but perhaps it would have more significance for a Chinese audience. Are Earth Owls a taboo subject which need to be censored? Does anyone know why?
