He's so chiselled! Tall and well sculpted, what a good match for DD - I'm so pleased that we got such a decent ML. I've been watching Billibilli and reading satisfied comments all around.

I really like the design of the sets so far and I recall that the Art direction was pretty good in Tientsin Mystic too which was also directed by Tian Li; he may have used the same Art director who seems to favour the traditional Chinese and Republican era styles. Ningbo as a choice for set location has been well though out, the ragged round the edges Sino Chinese architecture is unmistakeable. Art direction is a major component of the production and fascinating for me, I'm looking forward to more visual interpretations from the novel by this Art director.

I think she will evolve from a clueless artist to lethal guardian as the drama goes on and I think the clothes will change too; that is how the visual adaptation of the novel will be shown. I'm already visualising her in a black leather bodysuit , long whiplash braids that personify her name 'crazy knife' lol. (Do you recall those mag shoot pictures?)

I was wondering about that too but decided that an artist who stands all day will need very comfy shoes and functional, unstructured clothes for ease of movement.
