I agree. Even the idea that she gave up because she wanted a well-balanced life didn’t make sense. She could have joined a smaller firm or opened hers. Landscaping was out of nowhere. And nothing guarantees she can suceed or have a good life. Entrepreneurship could imply even less balance than being a lawyer. To me even the career sl is now a mess and lacks realism. There wasn’t even any foreshadowing before to justify this.

I want it too. It would be a satisfying ending for me only with a reconciliation. I want her to have love and a career. Li Guang is still my favorite character and today I felt sad because he was so helpless.

I agree. I was prepared since I read the spoilers on Weibo where it was announced. I feel there were hints in the plot but imo the execution was lacking.
