A simple cute story, just a confession actually. But yeah, if you have a little time to kill or wanting and don't know what to watch, why not go for this.
Just a lovely story, not many words were exchanged but the feeling were present. The cousin was funny to me and quite essential to give some rythme to the movie. Not that memorable but a good palet cleanser after some more intense and somber movies (Night Flight for instance in my case). So yeah it did the job, I feel much better.
All the way trough I kept asking myself. What am I watching ? Why do i keep watching it ? I feel i was like a spirit of hoping for revenge to be happening. I knew from the get go that there were no happy ending ( no pun intended ) to this movie. But somehow I was still hopping like Jin was still hopping things could change, that he could still do something when he started to teach. To the bitter end, I still felt his hope. A hope I felt was transfert to Kai, that's what I think kept him draw to Jin, not just about their past as student and teacher. In my opinion, it was a pretty good movie that portrait quite good a reality people rather pretend not to see or hear about. For those who would like to watch it, prepare yourselves, this is not a feel good movie, it's not an enjoyable experience. But still, at the end it was worthy to watch.
I may be alone in this case but somehow I founded it funny. Some parts were messy somehow in a good way for me. I might have gone crazy, who knows? But I really enjoyed it, the story was interesting and so out of the box for what I usually like. The ending also, it was not what I usually like but it worked. The darkness of the coloring all way through worked so well for it. If this is a movie you don't thing you would liked, based on the synopsis, you could be surprise. I was. And there is other crazy people out there, show yourselves.
Of all the show airing right now that I'm watching, I didn't expect this one to be the one I would be longing for the most each most. I even more surprise about how existing I am to see someone cheat on their partner next week. I've been seing some comment about Fujisawa character's, about him manipulating Hagiwara to stay with him. I've got to say I completely agree. I had to some weird vide when the friends from college asked Fujisawa to tell him when Hagiwara got better, so this take on his character made even more sense. Even, him checking Hagiwara's toes nail for pain, feels like it. He want to be needed by Hagiwara. I have some theory about it that may be too far because him just being in love and scared of being physical it just too obvious and probably going to be the case. So what about having something about Hagiwara's parent death, like some type of money situation for him to be doing the job he want even thought he studied for other thing. The way Fujisawa want to please Hagiwara in every way ( except physical obviously ), the tv just because he mentioned it, and I don't know why, he's being giving me weird vibe from the get go, like he is not as nice as he pretend to be. So I'm choosing to believed that for and probably being proven wrong later but I'm okay with it. It wouldn't the first time never the last I've being wrong about a show.
Well that's a first! I never thought that i would be so mad with a happing ending. When it's a triangle and i'm not ok with choices made, i still can understand it. But this, here, how! How! How! I don't get it one bit. How could that little psycho got away with what he has done. There is no way for me to understand it.
I really had a good time watching this drama. It's quite simple plot wise, but i don't mind that. Not everything needs to be overly complicated. Sometime it is nice to just have a cute love story. Plus what i really like is the apparence of the couple from your mine. The only thing that i would have like is to see the two friends getting together, but i might be a bit greedy here. I just like to see every body couple up in a drama. So beside that, i did enjoyed myself.
Well, is it great? No. Is it that bad? Also no. This is a ok drama. Sometime you shouldn't start a show with too much expectation. Just go as it is, dont look for too much sense or realism. Of course, it wasn't the best show ever. Am i going to remember it ? not that much. I just watched this to relax, it's not demanding, you can just turn your brain off for a few minutes, forget the madness of the world. It's a drama about a romance in a dog café, it is not that deep. Just take it for what it is. I don't think for one second that they thought this was going to be groundbreaking. It's something to not take it too seriously. If you want something simple to pass the time with good looking people, go for it. Just don't hope for anything grand.
Is there any other delusional people out there still waiting (hoping) for the season 2 ? I just can't get over this show. I loved it but also I am so frustrated by it.
