Absolutely. It's like Weak Hero Class 2. The story is made very differently.
You're making this up. I saw your comment that said you read weak hero but stopped halfway? Don't act like you know it all. You don't even know that ORV isn't just a novel, but a Webtoon with 380 million followers.

I compared their similar fates. What's your problem? You don't even read, how do you know the difference?

For those of you who are proud of the number 466,300 in 4 days, know this : When the first day release announcement came out, we already noted the possible first day audience, which was: 500,000 viewers. Where do we get that from? Our calculation is 380 million Webtoon ORV followers, divided by 10%, and another 10% for the possibility of readers getting stuck in and watching the film. When we received the news that this film was watched by 120k people on the first day, we were obviously surprised because this number was very small and far from our initial prediction. Additionally, those who watched in the cinema didn't even make reservations on the app. Because there were so many empty seats in any cinema. Seriously, guys. Hasn't a film ever reached 1 million views in your country in 2-3 days? Because Korea often has it. If not, is there no film that even reaches 1 million viewers in a week? Why are you making a fuss about a figure that's even less than 500,000 on the fourth day?

The 26th, it continued to be No. 1 with 184,810 viewers. So, the total number of viewers in the 4 days of release…
Boasting about 466,300 viewers is foolish. Four days later, and not reaching 500,000 viewers is a failure. Along With the Gods reached 1 million viewers in two days. And Along With The Gods 2 got 1 million viewers in 1 day. You're providing information here that doesn't make the film look good, but rather makes it look like a failure. If calculated, 30 billion just to get 2,500,000 viewers in 1 month? Already stole someone's work, but didn't even make his money back. Apart from that, this film also got a ranking of 1 with a rating of 1 on Google. This will definitely go down in history as a film that they "thought" was a hit, but got the worst rating.

Yes, and don't mind it forever. Don't mind our work here and just leave without any opinion about the novel.

Adaptation doesn't erase the entire concept. It's still theft. How would you feel if Thor used a sword? How would you feel if Captain America wore the Iron Man costume? Do they still have the same identities? Thor and Captain America? Of course not. And yes, this change is 100% real. Not 10% or even 50%. You wouldn't know because you wouldn't even bother reading it yourself.

I don't understand why so many people are being unreasonable here. Like, "The writer himself got paid. Why would you give the movie a bad rating?" Hey, if SingSong was sad and said we should watch this movie for his sake, we would immediately act according to his words. But up to this point, SingSong just told us to "read" and he had no comment whatsoever about the bad rating of this film which borrowed his name and also the name of the story he had. SingSong did not contribute to this film in any way. That's what you need to understand. This trashy movie is made by stealing other people's masterpieces.

haven't been following all of this cause I'm swamped with work but this is is really pissing me off even more…
The actor's fans are just as annoying as the director who made this crappy movie. They say we are destroying a masterpiece by manipulating google reviews. Yes, their masterpieces come from sabotaging other people's masterpieces. They want us to appreciate the masterpieces that were taken from theft.

That good number or no ??
No. I don't know where he got that number. Kobis estimates the revenue at 4.6 billion in 4 days. The numbers are large, but the company is still making losses. Because they were only able to get 466 thousand viewers on the fourth day, not even close to 500 thousand viewers. Yesterday was the weekend. We thought it would reach 200,000 viewers. But they still couldn't, even though Naver promoted it on Webtoon.

Thank you. I know the quality of an actor's fans now. It's very different from us as readers. You're like a director making insulting statements, and we're like SingSong trying to make the most positive statement possible without offending anyone except the director

orv fans are obviously rating this low
What are you saying? Naver is the one collaborating on this. Naver is the one who authorized the film, not SingSong. Are you seriously falling for the director's words? From the start, this novel wasn't even BL. You dare to speak like this when you only see the director's side without considering the original author's feelings. You know nothing except your darling

Nothing at all. All the director did was plagiarize our favorite story. SingSong even said that his favorite scene was the first scene. Maybe SingSong said that because only the first scene was acceptable, while the other scenes hurt his eyes and feelings because they killed the character of Dokja that we loved

Where does the movie end as per the novel?
This doesn't even follow the novel at all. We couldn't give any spoilers even if we wanted to because the entire novel was changed in this LA. What is certain is that Lee Minho was dying and Ahn Hyo Seop saved him like a prophet. Here, Ahn Hyo Seop is called a hero. Like, since when did our Ugliest King become a hero?

The webtoon has reached hundreds of millions of views. It's like how in our day and age, it's impossible for anyone not to know Naruto. So, even without reading the novel, Kim Dokja is already famous.

No. Even ORVs are more famous in Korea. Young children also know Kim Dokja more than the actors here. Not only that. Every time there's an exhibition, anyone selling ORVs will sell. They compare ORVs that are of interest to hundreds of millions of people with the actors is a big mistake. Koreans even mostly watched this movie only to mock it afterwards.

I can't believe it. SingSong didn't do anything bad. The director did. The director blames us as readers. He's been acting so badly since day one. He was the one who first indirectly said he didn't need readers. And after being hit with the consequences, he blames us. It makes no sense. He made SingSong hated because of the statement he gave. I'm so tired. This movie shouldn't have existed in the first place.

I saw a post from an actor's fan blaming SingSong and slandering SingSong that SingSong told us to rate it 1, when in fact it didn't! They even planned to visit SingSong's social media and leave bad comments even though SingSong doesn't know anything and we move on our own accord. From the start, SingSong never made a negative statement. He was so kind that he even gave the director a novel and merchandise, even though the director hadn't read it since the beginning he made this film. If you want to blame someone for your favorite artist getting a 1 rating in his/her movie, it is the director who made this movie. From the start, we also blamed the director for making the work we loved into a film with the same title, the same character names, but ended up being hated.

Now I understand why so many of the actor's fans brought up SingSong's name in our debates. Turns out you guys are planning to blame the ORIGINAL WRITERS who made ORV LOVED so your actors could be in this movie. How can people be so ungrateful? Don't you know the history of the director who directed this film? He is the director of a whole bunch of unknown films in Korea. If there were no ORV's name, people would not know about this film. Just try asking the director to make his own original film with the same cast. I bet the movie will never even reach 50k viewers on the first day. Stop acting like this. Koreans will start hating your actors if you keep acting like this. You may not know this but ORVs are very much loved in Korea. Even more loved than your actors. People may not know a rising actor, but ORV is known to everyone. So, watch your behavior. SingSong is innocent here. He's a victim who wasn't even invited to participate in the making of this film. Do you understand?
