Great article, I usually like most dramas by the Hong Sisters. I love Couple or Trouble and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho but I really didn't like Delightful Girl Choon Hyang.
I liked Playful Kiss and I'm currently watching It Started with a Kiss which is better. Honestly though I like Say That You Love Me (Chinese version) the best.

3. Dramas are definitely targeted toward females although there are some exceptions. It's kind of similar to how action movies are being targeted towards men and romantic comedies being targeted towards women.
4. 3 men, 2 women
5. Although I like to watch certain actors, plot and acting ability are more important than looks. I do sometimes like a cute drama that maybe lacking in story but not all the time.

7. Yes, I tend to like unique characters, strong female leads, interesting male leads and a good story

Aw, I always felt sort of sorry for Yoo Hee Jin even if I didn't like her much. Especially when she cried and…
I agree Hee Jin had some bad stuff happen to her but that didn't really justify all her actions. I also agree about Jin Hun, he wouldn't make my favorite male leads list.
Great article! I loved the original Japanese Hana Kimi and I agree with most of your thoughts on the other versions. I actually liked the Korean version but I didn't have super high expectations going into it :)
