More or less, although implicitly I feel that this drama also contains satirical content on the discourse of misogynistic elements in the society (I tend to find more misogynistic female forms, except for the case of marquis chengyang where he apparently harmed his two wives by himself). And the worst character in this drama I think is Lou Li, the logicless and childish Hater till the end. Even because the negativity has taken over her brain, where it was by her stupidly then got herself killed in vain (I call it as the 'dark jokes' disguised).
