1. Zhoucheng Chen lived with his parents at Qin Wan mom's house (whose he called grandmother) when he was a kid. When his mom died, his father married Qin Wan. At the time, she's in relationship with second Uncle. 2. Wenxing and Wenchuan are children of 2nd Uncle and QinWan when QinWan already married to ZSC's dad. So, Wenxing and Wenchuan are ZSC's half brothers in paper. 3. Ren is the only son of 2nd Uncle and his married wife, who is also Tong Jiren's sister. Due to 2nd Uncle marriage, ZSC and Tong Jiren's engagement cancelled. Later, Tong Jiren married to Wenchuan. After ZSC's dad died, 2nd Uncle temporarily takes charge of the Zhou businesses until ZSC gets married. Since Ren is 2nd Uncle legitimate son, he becomes a second in line succession of the Zhou family after ZSC if he doesn't have a child. So, Ren was adopted by QinWan and has his last name Zhoucheng. By name, Wenxing and Wenchuan are ZSC's half brother and sister. In fact, they are Ren's half brother and sister by blood. Eventually, ZSC is the only one in the Zhou family with no close relatives. 4. I think 4th Uncle left the family due to the conflict in the family when Ren's mom died. Some said his mom's dead is not natural.

Yes, but not often. We're showing our love by observing, caring and doing silent things. It's exactly what ZSC did for SY. Many people will find it's hard to accept that kind of personality. They will think it's boring, that's why ZSC becomes isolate in the society he's living in. Lucky for him that he met SY, and he's thankful for that when he talked to Uncle Lin at the airport.
Haha..you can relate to him then if you can watch drama 70 plus time…I hold hands with spouse in public sometimes…
That's the reason I rewatched to catch the scene why he slept separate with her. Firstly, It's because of their discussion when they were in Germany. Uncle Lin said they were not supposed to consummate the marriage until after the wedding ceremony. But the thing happened due to some circumstances :-).... After they came back home, due to SY joke that she forgot to buy the bed in the study room. Eventually, he took her words seriously and respected her, so he did whatever he think she like.
Actually u r the one or two who felt that he is the perfect for this role.but unfortunately rest of us don't really…
I guess you've never met someone with introvert personality or you haven't married yet to understand ZSC thoughts and actions in this drama. Allen has perfectly portrait the realistic person with that type of personality.

OnO and FaE are one of the best dramas I've seen so far. I appreciate Bai Lu and Allen Ren for being professional and hard working to show us an amazing show. I don't know why people comparing the character of ZSC in OnO and FnE. They are two different persons with different characteristics, and Allen has perfectly represented it all, especially as a introvert researcher in FaE. Allen made his ZSC character so realistic with each of his small gesture, a shyness, a confusion, a satisfied smile, and love for his wife. Through the drama, we can see the transformation from a zero-socialized skill ZSC to a caring, lovely husband. Shiyi has guided him how to slowly show his emotion, his thoughts and his love. And he's willing to get out of his comfort zone to make change because of his love for her. Many viewers keep asking for more kissing, and criticize Allen for his acting which I feel unfair for him. I find the drama has balance out the romantic scenes. For an introvert person like ZSC in FnE, you can't expect him to show much intimate and passionate actions in public. I'm the same as him, never hug/kiss or show any intimate actions to my spouse in public. We're caring for our love ones by doing many silent things not showing. Also, like him, I can watch this drama 79 times ... to get each and every small details of the sweetness, cuteness and adorable moves of ZSC and SY couple.
