Review TharnType
I very much agree. The acting is good, and I did feel engaged throughout the story. This drama needs a trigger warning, though. I was so disappointed with Tharn disrespecting Type's boundaries. Type was just not a good partner or a good person for the majority of the show. I understand that a lot of these characters are dealing with trauma, and that is internalized and manifests in so many different ways, and I can be sympathetic toward that. That being said, you can't use your feelings to excuse awful actions toward others. No one in this show was really held appropriately accountable. I think it's a fine drama to watch when you keep that all in mind. One could probably fall into romanticizing trauma and abuse pretty easily.

Review TharnType
I spent the whole show talking about how badly they needed therapy. I was disappointed with Tharn not respecting Type's boundaries, and Type was emotionally manipulative. This show does tackle things that people actually deal with, in terms of trauma, internalized homophobia, and projecting after abuse. Some things are handled well, but some are just glossed over. I watched the whole series in 2 days, though, and I found it engaging. I think it's okay to dislike characters and their choices. Perhaps some parts of this show can be cathartic. That being said, Type was a bad person in the beginning, and only marginally better in the end. They both still need therapy, ASAP.
