I am just one episode behind you on 11 but so far this is what I can tell:
OMG THANKS YALL FOR CLARIFYING ALL THIS! Literally have been watching for the romance and then getting so stumped on the political scenes on whats going on. Thank you everyone for the clarifications and summaries! Thanks @PeachBlossomGoddess for kicking off these summaries. honestly ill be going back to this throughout the drama (as i start getting names to faces lol! :)
loving the dynamic of the characters, but having a hard time understanding the political background and events stirring.
My understanding (please correct me if im wrong): everyone thinks that Marquis Wuan is dead and now his like half evil brother/relative is running the land to ruins.
I could have sworn I have seen the the actors playing Hye Ji and Tae Min before in a project together. But seeing their project history, I guess not. I kinda ship these characters. Im only on ep 5 tho lol
Whoever wrote the comment "this dude be like why are all these women crying before me?" on viki when Jae Pil approaches a crying Yeong Rye, I thank you. LOL
Ep 11. Just finished this ep (yes im one of the late watchers lol). I'm so intrigued with this couple dynamic where Hao Ming is subtle in helping her continue to deceive him yet use her in his own schemes in business. I love how their feelings to each other are genuine but there is also a need for each other in order to reach what they want. It's such an interesting dynamic and im excited to see what's in store with this plot. This drama is giving me similar vibes to When the Phone Rings with each individual with their own agendas. Hopefully it ends better though iykyk
I'm on ep 28, and Idk if it's because im watching multiple dramas at the same time, but the monster in the forest threw me off a bit and now it's getting a bit more fantastical... I'm not sure if I like this turn lol
came to the comments because i cringed at a few parts and wanted to find others who resonated. I was not disappointed. I will still finish this drama despite the cringe because i guess tsundere ml is my type lol
Drinking game idea: Take a shot every time someone says "I'll tell you later"
LOL I just keep thinking if we told each other right now instead of wait, we can avoid a few twists and turns here lol but ofc, what's the fun in that!
very similar to hospital playlist vibes with group of friends coming together throughout their workday. At first, it took forever to get through ep 1 (I work a lot so I was falling asleep during that episode and would have to restart trying to watch it the next night). But after going through 2 episodes straight I have learned to fall in love with this drama. I want more!!!! LOL
I am absolutely unsure. the only things I can think of: the real name helds power as we learned of bong-su. to…
omg Imma follow this thread because I too was also confused about this scene... like I don't really remember having any doubts or ideas of an alternative name for Yeonwha...
Just finished the last episode and this was definitely one of the few dramas of 2025 that I just had to binge. I love watching Choo Young Woo and all his projects and this was definitely one of them. I love how his character was so cute when in love. The entire cast was amazing and although I wasn't versed with shamanism, the scenes were interesting and the plot was there... until the last 2 episodes. Warning: critiques incoming....
This was a great drama, however, 12 episodes may not have been enough. OR 12 episodes were enough if the plot didn't diverge too much. I felt like the last 2 episodes were so heavily focused on Yeonwha and shamanism/Bongsoo. The concept of Bongsoo and Gyeonu sharing a body was a good idea to implement, however, due to Yeonwha's evilness, she should be have been the one to right her wrongs and learn from her mistakes. Instead it became Gyeonu and Seonga's problem/sacrifice. I wish we got more closure and some scenes of the REAL Seonga reuniting with her friends and achieving her dream of going to college. The time skip was a bit unnecessary and I had FOMO for Seonga. I wish we also had a better idea of what their friend group ended up doing after high school. (also lowkey, the girl who was sending head messages to Gyeonu was also such an outlying character and unnecessary. The boy received so much other hate from other people. no need to add another character for that)
The last 2 episodes were definitely a bit rushed and the direction of plot was not what I wanted, but it could have been worse. It was nice to see our cute couple's romance blossom and the bromance between the leads. For me, this is a 8.5/10 or 9/ 10 and a lot of that is because of the KILIG points between our leads! See yall in the next kdrama discussions lol
can someone pls explain the scene when yeonwha leaves and a butterfly lands on her shoulder as she walks away? like what is the meaning of the butterfly? what is truly her name?
I planned to watch this drama because I love Lee Sang Gi's and Park Bo Gum's work. However, like the others in this chat, it was an awesome concept of taking athletes and bringing then into the police field work, but it falls short in the romance and crime/detective department.
I don't feel too much of a spark between the leads and I'm often rooting for Lee Sang Gi instead. I also found that the main male lead's character is a immature. I'm on ep 9, and I feel like we have done the same cycle at least 3 times already: something bad happens, male lead gets very mad, retaliates, gets scolded by leaders, and then he asks for forgiveness in order to continue catching the bad guy, and then it repeats.
I love the action scenes and I wish there were more scenes in which we can find the characters using their skills, but often the action scene would need to be catered to the particular sport. Thus, the 16 episodes that this story is planning for is uncalled for.
I'm gonna try to finish this drama since I dont like leaving things undone. But it's gonna be a bit of a struggle or something I can put in the background mindlessly. I often like watching dramas subbed, but for the sake of getting thru this, I might go dubbed so I can multitask. Hopefully the plot picks up a bit more between ep 10 and forward

(HELP thats actually all I know rn on ep 12)

"why"
"because if he had hit your bone, he would have died"
