Idk how I really feel avout JTBC right now. On one hand, I'm glad they released a statement because that was exactly wahat has been on my mind. Given my fair share of kdramas, the earlier episodes are often light while the later episodes become darker and heavier. This is a drama which has build up. This is not a documentary or something.
Most of the hate (idk a better term) here are only based on snippets and tweets? You can even tell apart who watched the full episodes and who didn't. As I said, it's like writing review based on a movie review you searched up online instead of the movie itself.

We can praise others while praising Jisoo too. Why do you think we should stop? The others did good too. The cast in this drama is amazing. I have seen comments like that here.
