I just finished ep 1 and I can understand if some would not like the FL . But personally, I like her character.…
Oh and the romance dynamic too. Some people might dislike it because the FL is older than the ML annndd the FL is already a successful lawyer while the ML is still a student.
I don't LOVE it but I also don't mind it as long as they were single and were already adults. For now, I'm more interested about the FL's development.
I just finished ep 1 and I can understand if some would not like the FL . But personally, I like her character.
She is selfish and flawed but not entirely sociopathic. As a lawyer MC, I think she's the only one like this. Others, even in Lawless Lawyer are driven by their sense of justice but not this one. She is driven by her dream and determination to "succeed" be at the top which I personally find relatable. She even compromises her health. But that was too much and it also pulled her down in the end.
That dream of hers is actually vague and probably clouded by her sorrow. I wouldn't call her a strong character. She is actually very vulnerable. She needs charcter development and I'm looking forward to that. I want to see her become a better person AND succeed at the same time. I hope the later episodes won't let me down.
Lol what are you talking about when many people here defending yangzi and lin zhixiao and blaming gu wei more
Welp, his fanbase is probably mostly on Weibo and/or busy streaming so there's a very little of more of us coming here.
About your post, people think differently and mdl is an open forum. Since you aren't a cp fan, maybe op wasn't referring to your post. This is why I disagreed with op too because they generalized it somehow when most people here on mdl are actually just serial drama watchers (you and me both). ;)
XZ and YZ's fandoms are really big and ofcourse, there would be a level of "toxicity". For instance, SOME of Dilireba…
Why? I don't disagree tho. I also think that I don't have the time to be a "hardcore" fan. Although I don't think hardcore fans would discriminate between genders??
I genuinely wish yz and xz never coorporate ever again. His cp fans are rlly toxic. You can already tell from…
XZ and YZ's fandoms are really big and ofcourse, there would be a level of "toxicity". For instance, SOME of Dilireba and YY's fans also fought (they were really intense lol) when YAMG aired but at the end of the day, the ones liking the pairing are still greater. That's why these dramas are successful.
So I suggest to focus on the good side. There are more people liking this pairing.
Also, there is nothing wrong with being a fan of actors instead of actresses. I personally don't discriminate between genders. As long as they have good works and I take a liking in them, I would become a fan.
I'm on ep 13 now. I just want to share that as someone who lost a parent to cancer (brain cancer), I would say that the scenes are actually so realistic. The crying at the hospital hallway after finding out the results, going out of the room so that the patient won't see you cry, the patient denying treatment/surgery because it's gonna cause us a lot and the conflict it makes in the family, that moment when the mother said that words like "poor prognosis", high recurrence", etc. keeps going on inside her head, everything was so relatable.
Also, the different diagnosis at first. In our case, it was stroke but turns out it was brain cancer.
