A pretty solid character-driven story, I'd say. And although I found the romance storyline somewhat lacking and its development at times forced and overdramatic, in the end it all wraps up quite well. But the drama is not about romance, it's about personal growth and in this aspect it's very good. We follow Miho's evolution throughout the series and see her becoming a stronger person by the end of it. An important element of that journey is also her relationship with her best friend Kyoko and, of course, with her family. There are some really great scenes with them. All in all, it's another good drama from the '90s that you shouldn't miss if you like that time period. [7.5]
The drama was going so well until the ex-bf or whatever appeared after that it went downhill for me. She could…
Exactly my thoughts about the ex plotline. Only I didn't jump to the end because I never do it out of respect to the actors and the creators but I remember that those were much inferior episodes. I wouldn't say it ruined the drama completely but it definitely spoiled it to a great extent.

Koi no Chikara is my favourite. They make an incredibly adorable couple with Fukatsu Eri. Also, Yamato Nadeshiko with Matsushima Nanako. Good Luck!! is another very good drama of his. Among films, I truly recommend Monday. It's absolutely bonkers.
